what's even more funny to me, and this isn't surprising, is that Chris basically sold his soul. "Nevermind reading the piece of paper, I just like the look of my own handwriting." Even though he has co-signed stuff for a loan, I doubt he'd read a contract. Even if Chris didn't have shitty credit, he wouldn't know how to read a contract for buying a car.

Have you ever seen a cartoon scene where the character actually thoroughly read the contract? No.

They also brainwashed him, things like his marriage to Magi-Chan and their edgy alterations to Sonichu canon. Other beliefs started from their influence, like the CPU goddess and Merge concepts. Validating Chris's fantasy world beliefs got their foot in the door, then they twisted and influenced those beliefs.

There's no turning back for Chris in his merge delusion. Admitting it means hurting his hubris, even though no one's believing in his BS.

This has been answered to some degree already, but yeah: the Idea Guys' one arguable bit of genius was to play on Chris's personal power fantasies. Chris has long had psychic powers in the comics - remember his Scanners-like execution of Mao in Sonichu 10? Which in turn is just a slightly more sophisticated rendition (because psychic) of magic powers like the curse-ye-ha-me-ha or his Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Chris has always wanted to believe that he has powers like these, perhaps because, on a subconscious level, he realises just how powerless he truly is and always will be. The Idea Guys gave his ego a particularly good wank on that one, and presto they cracked his combination.

I'm not even 3 minutes into the new video but Chris sounds and talks like child trapped inside an adult's body, more so than in past videos.

Him making a fool out of himself when talking to voice actresses and Doppiedoover is always amazing to see.
