I won't because he had $100k in crowdfunding to hire a competent artist and he's been bragging about how he's had so much extra money that he's throwing the rest in a money market account to gather dust interest.
Unfortunately, anyone stupid enough to give Chris crowdfunding money probably thinks they got amazing value for money with Act 1.

As someone who used to be enough of a turbo autist to read comics somewhat regularly, this is some of the worst shit I've ever seen. Even old amateur stuff I remember was better than this tripe.

I remember, there was an author Jeff Loeb, who did some decent work for DC and Marvel, but his kid passed away, and he just fucking lost it. Tons of his stories became comically grimdark, and often had horrific ideas and scenes awkwardly crowbarred into them, like Ultimates 3 revealing that Quicksilver was boning his sister to deal with his repressed lust for his mother. I do not know anyone who unironically likes his work in this period, but at least being comically insane means there's a kind of perverse joy you can get from watching the poor grieving father's ongoing train wreck.

Vito commits the much greater sin in entertainment, being a fucking bore. And also being a self professed pedophile, obviously.

nool decided to take all but the core people out of the Balldoverse subforum. It'll probably be closed down at some point like most of these topical subfora.
Thank you.
I thought it was funny to imagine this fat slob being "balldo-ed" by Nick Rekieta. Still, I guess that makes sense.

Alright, I think I have everything in order. I couldn't decide the best way to go about this so I've decided to group every 5 pages together in spoilers so the post isn't massive. I've also cut out some sections of pages that had nothing much worth commenting on, and I apologise if I repeat any criticisms others have already made, but I wanted to go into this completely blind/unbiased.

I should also mention I won't be commenting on any of the writing, partly because art is my wheelhouse but also because I honestly gave up reading it by page 3 or 4. It is excruciatingly tedious.

Finally, a key:
Red indicates straight up mistakes
Orange indicates something that's drawn fine, but doesn't fit in context
Green indicates continuity errors
pg1.jpg
PAGE ONE
Vast majority of errors on this page are anatomy related. Heads are too big or too small for the bodies or faces are scrunched up in a failed attempt at perspective. There is also a glaring issue with the anatomy of shoulders --this will be a theme-- and more generally limbs are positioned where they shouldn't be or random lines denote muscles that don't exist. Oh, and Meteor Man becomes super fat in panel 3 for some reason.

Continuity-wise the only error is the Meteor Man emblem on his chest changes between panels, wrapping round his lats in panel 2 but ending halfway across his ribs in panel 3. This, again, will be a recurring issue as we progress.
pg2.jpg
PAGE TWO
Not much to say for this one, thankfully. I have no idea what's going on with Beck's fingers in panel 1, and there's a continuity issue between her holding and not holding the comic, which we'll be seeing again soon.
pg3.jpg
PAGE THREE
Again, only a couple minor issues. The continuity issue with holding the comic vs it lying on the counter returns and we encounter the first instance of Keder Lebau drawing characters with folded arms looking like they're very cold. We also have a derp face on Beck.
pg4.jpg
PAGE FOUR
Our first instance of context errors. The hand gesture in panel 1 conveys a man making a demand for money more than a boss criticising a lazy worker, and I don't know what the fuck his face in panel 2 conveys. Panel 3 has a dodgy mouth on Dmitri and another bizarre expression for Bex.

Finally, another small continuity error with Dmitri's apron magically growing in length between panels.
pg5.jpg
PAGE FIVE
Yet more out-of-place expressions. At least with the third one I recognise what Lebau was going for, but it needed to be way more exaggerated to convey Dmitri being overly enamoured with the microwave.

Another minor continuity error with the pot overflowing in one panel but not in the close-up.
pg6.jpg
PAGE SIX
We start with bizarre touching her boss's elbow for no reason, then we come to my favourite continuity error in the whole issue: the magical closed sign. More on this later.

For the rest of the page we have some dodgy faces and one of the first instances of Bex's bizarre man paws. I don't think I highlighted all of these but try and spot them for yourself.
pg7.jpg
PAGE SEVEN
Boring page, not much to say. One arm that looks copy-pasted in, an asset-flip mouth and a jarring expression for being bit by a raccoon.
pg9.jpg
PAGE NINE
The magical closed sign makes it's second appearance. If you refer back to page six you will see this sign was on the inside of the diner, but is now somehow facing the outside, as it should.

Also the jukebox has no records, which may seem like a minor nitpick but why go to the effort of drawing it just to leave out such a crucial detail?
pg10.jpg
PAGE TEN
The magical closed sign continues to evolve. Not only has the writing on it changed, but the drawstring blinds are up on panel 1 then down in panel 2 for some reason. It also appears someone forgot to erase the screentone on a person in panel one so he appears in deep shadow unlike everyone else on the street.

We're treated to a bunch of weird expressions and a burger that, to my eyes, contains no burger. The final orange highlight is because, even though I know they were going for the anime thing of the pose remaining while the expression changes it doesn't work here at all; she should have had a far more animated response.
pg11.jpg
PAGE ELEVEN
That's not even a man paw, I dunno what the fuck is going on with her arm here. This page also marks when I first started to notice how Superkiller's hair constantly changes between panels. It is extremely annoying.

Aside from that we have the usual face issues, another example of Lebau not understanding how deltoid muscles work, the blind on the door being back up and the top of the jukebox is just missing.
pg12.jpg
PAGE TWELVE
As is tradition, a bunch of expressions that don't match, and this time an entire panel that doesn't need to be there, as well as the first instance (at least that I noticed) of Becks' anatomy changing wildly. In some panels she's a stacked hourglass, in others she's built like a troon. Also a couple fucked up arms/hands, a levitating broom and I am pleased to report Superkiller got his burger by trading his lettuce.
pg13.jpg
PAGE THIRTEEN
I'm not sure why this bothered me so much, I just have no idea why the milkshake glass needed to be sticking outside the panel like this. Other than that, a bunch of wonky faces and anatomy errors as per usual. Oh and the superhero's cape clasp disappears between panels.
pg14.jpg
PAGE FOURTEEN
A wonky face, and even though I forgot to highlight it Beck has some Eugenia Cooney arms in these panels. We also have a very awkward dive which was either traced or pulled from a folder and more of Superkiller's fucked up hair.
pg15.jpg
PAGE FIFTEEN
Starting us off in panel two the perspective is all over the place. I don't know why people in the second queue further away from Superkiller vary in size so much, but this appears to be a persistent issue as SK himself suddenly grows a few inches taller than the woman behind him in panel four (who also has a derp face). Speaking of faces, bank lady's is all fucked up in panel three and SK's grill has similar issues in panel six.

This also starts the trend of Lebau's extremely annoying tendency to draw people's upper teeth tapering to a point in the middle for no reason. The hair is also inconsistent, as usual.
pg16.jpg
PAGE SIXTEEN
Again with the hair. Again with the copy-pasted mouths/faces. The bottom-left guy is in red because his upper and lower face don't match, and I dunno what's going on with his shirt collar. Actually the more I look at him everything about his anatomy is kind of screwy.
pg17.jpg
PAGE SEVENTEEN
This is probably the worst page in the book for my money. At the very least the final panel is the worst panel. To start off, Superkiller's normal gun has a bendy barrel, and the bank lady is our first (and maybe only) instance of the holy trinity: a head that's out of proportion to the body, which has an expression out of a hentai and which changes completely between panels. Outstanding work.

The worst is in the final panel, though. I cannot stress how bad the anatomy in this panel is. Meteor Man has two giant pectoral muscles and no delts. We're at the point where I'd respect Lebau more for tracing instead of phoning it in this hard. There's also a couple continuity errors that will be made clear on the next page.
pg18.jpg
PAGE EIGHTEEN
So for some reason the screentone between page seventeen and eighteen changes completely, to the point Meteor Man appears to be wearing a different costume. Remember the emblem issue from the very first page? Well we have a nice bit of incontinuity continuity here as it dips to the bottom of his ribcage in the first panel but jumps back up to just under his pec in the last panel.

To round things off we have more shoulder issues, an arm that has been awkwardly squashed to fit inside the panel, spray-on abs and a couple extra derp faces.
pg19.jpg
PAGE NINETEEN
Oh these pesky shoulders. On the plus side, that's nothing compared to the abomination on the right side of panel one. There are so many anatomical errors I'm not even going to bother listing them; rest assured it's all shit. Panel two could have been a derp face, but it's also bad perspective so take your pick tbh. Confirmed derp face in panel three and some copy-paste mouths (and those fucking rabbit teeth again) in panels five and six, and...look, I don't know what is supposed to be going on in the last panel.

Is that a hole? Exposed raw muscle? Nobody knows, including the artist.
pg20.jpg
PAGE TWENTY
Once again the screentooners are running amok: Superkiller's costume is suddenly much darker and Meteor Man has turned into Colossus. SK also has a generally fucked up arm in panel one, but that's the least of the worries after Meteor Man punches him so hard his right hand ends up on backwards.
pg21.jpg
PAGE TWENTY-ONE
You'll have to forgive me, but at this point I'm completely out of ways to say Keder Lebau does not understand human anatomy. Even Rob Liefeld knew to copy photos of golden-age Arnold, Keder; get your shit together. Aside from that we have some more copy-paste faces, and a Superman hair curl that disappears between panels.

Oh, and I still don't understand that hole.
pg22.jpg
PAGE TWENTY-THREE
I think maybe somewhere in the last three or four pages Keder got told he wasn't getting paid more just because the GFM raised more money, so he gave up and submitted first drafts. I wouldn't blame him if that was the case, honestly. Whatever the case we have more dreadful anatomy and Meteor Man has added some volumising mousse to his hair between appearances. We're also missing some action lines in panel 1, (where Becks has her final fucked up face of the issue,) and one last copy-paste job for Meteor Man in the closing panel.
pg23.jpg
FILLER PAGE
I have no idea why this is included, I certainly wouldn't want anyone to see it. Keder's problem with chilly crossed arms returns, and I don't know if I should applaud or chastise him for attempting such an extreme perspective when he's clearly not capable of drawing it.

Finally, we'll end on a competition: can you guess what emotion Superkiller is supposed to be feeling, here?
In Conclusion...
First of all, I'm going to get one unequivocal compliment out the way: the location shots are mostly really good. The perspective is on point and a lot of them are fairly detailed, so much so I think Vedo probably paid someone else to make them or bought them off a stock asset site. I also quite like Lebau's use of hatching for the shading, but it's inconsistently applied and seems to disappear after the first few pages (I'm guessing that's when he found out how much he was getting paid).

Aside from that, if I were to take Superkiller Act One in a vacuum and look at it objectively...it's not that bad. I mean, it is bad, but if it was an amateur project being thrown up on Webtoon I'd say good effort and keep going, lil buddy. Fortunately, we do not live in a vacuum; we live in a world where a fat, greasy, ugly pedophile has spent a year missing deadlines, over-promising and under-delivering, all while attacking other people's far more successful indie comic projects.

That being the case, I am very pleased to say that Vedo's comic is an absolute disaster and Eric July's work is superior by every conceivable metric. Everyone should point and laugh at this fat failure of a man, and he should be reminded of his failure any time he tries to run his mouth.

Final Grade: D-

The plate of fries suddenly disappears when he whams his head on the countertop
I haven't read it yet. Just kind of skimmed it. But this panel is weird. It's like the artist glued paper dolls to the comic page. The cover kind of does the same thing with the main character and some other places. I don't know. Maybe it's a style thing.

Minor nit-pick but fuck Vaedo, she's not sighing she's just saying sigh.

Which just reminds me of Chris Chan.

This fat fuck inserts his literal self into the comic while making a libtarded statement on gun control.

This has been mentioned, but lawsuit when?
This movie and the associated comic are fairly obscure at this point but a simple google search can be done.
Plus that's Marvel's Cable in the panel.

I find this panel above to be SUS considering the writer.
& below the very next panel is SUS to the max, plus the one after that gives strong tranny vibes, I think the waitress is a man.

I won't even get into 3d assets they are everywhere. Definitely looks like jobber work done by someone putting this at a low priority for effort.

More than likely this was done to add full background assets later and not worry about the blank spaces.
This was probably made by the person that got those background assets later, probably the same that did the "screentooning". That looks like Photoshop Stroke Effect.
Stylistic choice my ass.

PS Stroke Tool in comics = Big No-No.jpg

Probably the artist or the "screentooner" was asked to resize these,
and there were blank spaces behind the characters in the fastest way possible.

Needless to say, the "manga" "screentooning" was a last moment's decision.
Surely it was assumed it would be like coloring US-style, and it shows.

> You can instinctively tell it doesn't match the linework nor the art style.
Either the pattern directions are wrong (but most of all: rushed),
have no criteria other than filling the page (instead of suggesting mood and depth),
and there's not a single consistent light source anywhere that justifies them.

> Dynamic lines (one of the things that makes manga Manga), same:
used for filling blanks, not accentuating the action.

> Most of the cross-hatching has been made with a cross-hatching digital brush
(you can tell by the muddy textures and by the fact that it was applied as color).

But its biggest sin is that the art is completely static.
No movement suggestion anywhere,
and the few places where it's used (less than 10 panels, give or take) it's just wrong.

This is a work that screams "I don't know how sequential arts work and I won't bother learning".
There is no style, just detached graphic elements (hence why you feel sort of a headache when inspecting each panel).

There are two other elements that I won't comment on (the make or break for manga beyond art style),
because I know the subhuman scum that commissioned this uninspired collage reads this thread
instead of using whatever pastiche of neurons he calls a brain to give his audience a good product.

Besides, as stated in my previous message, I don't discuss work ethics with subhuman scum.-
