Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

If you had a good enough PC on launch it was worth playing. I had no issues with it TBH.
Ah hah! I've been searching for you for quite some time and you finally let your guard down. I have finally found the CDPR employee!!!

plz make more witcher 3 dlc sir

Most of the crying was from people on mid-range rigs, or trying to play it on the PS4 (lol)
I'll give you some pushback there though. They marketed and sold the game on those systems. It should have worked.

Heh I'd give my left nut for some more Witcher content.

Yes, they marketed and sold the game on systems that couldn't run it, and that was shockingly naughty of them. PC was fine though. I was running it on my laptop (i7, 2080 RTX).

The worst thing they did was market Cyberpunk 2077 as a deep RPG instead of another Far Cry game.

Like, if your PC can run it fine you can enjoy it on a "shoot shit up in a world with a certain aesthetic" sort of deal.
They started it as a deep RPG but then shifted it to open world action game.

There's an image in this thread somewhere of their Twitter bio's before and after.

Yea, all the red flags that they were changing course through the years is why I'm glad I cancelled my pre order. I was so fucking excited for this game too... This and Vampyr were probably my biggest gaming let downs of the past decade.

Can anyone recommend me some decent weapons? I realize I've pretty much just used Widowmaker and Lizzie for every playthrough and it's getting a bit dull.
Why the fuck would you want to use anything but those guns thanks to double the killing power and status chances?

More seriously, Sovereign is a good time since it turns into the Doom super shotty when you ADS, and The Headsman fires twice the pellets of a normal shotgun for twice the fun, especially when you slap a damage or crit chance mod on it. Buzzsaw lives up to its name if you can handle the recoil. Overwatch that you get from Panam is the only silenced sniper in the game, allowing good synergy with stealth perks. I can't really recommend anything else, although Dying Night is really hard to beat as a solid all-rounder. Oh, and since Comrade's Hammer only has a single round, the Grand Finale perk in the Handgun tree that doubles the last shot's damage is always in effect. Just aim carefully with it.

I really recommend a high-Body all-out aggression run some time. You get ridiculous health and health regen from that attribute and its skills and perks (Athletics were XP gain not busted and Street Brawler especially), and The Headsman is an absolute wrecking ball thanks to the extra pellets, and the increased spread doesn't matter if you're practically staring them in the face.

EDIT: Its a damn shame the one LMG in the game is so fucking terrible.

I agree with James. I have a relatively high-end PC and got it on steam sale. I enjoy it for the interesting characters and story, plus I'm a sucker for gameplay where you're a fragile flower early on and an unstoppable god of destruction later in the game.
So...basically every game with progression?

Not automatically. Oblivion I find unsatisfying because even unnamed bandits sport high levels and end-game gear. Kingdoms of Amalur enemies have so many HP it never really feels different at high levels, plus even on hard gameplay feels easy. It's hard for me to put into words but there's definitely a "sweet spot".

Are you saying if you slap on both the anti-bleed and anti-fire in the integumentary only one will work?
I'm saying that one will replace the other. Unless I'm just being a dumbass but I'm pretty sure I selected a different slot. Or it could just be the immune system (tried to equip both the poison heal and the electric buff).

You might be just a dumbass. And great, now you're making me wanting to waste the time and bandwidth reinstalling.
