To be fair with Demon's Souls, they did fix the awful drop rates and it has proper stable online again without needing to resort to the fan servers.

If the remakes or remasters fix the bad shit that was holding the originals back I have no problem with them.

I didn't say the nostalgia bait was bad though, I said it's bad that too much resources is devoted towards it. Ideally you want a good mix of new and old.

You missed Zero Mission inbetween Super and Fusion, and again, Prime is it's own separate thing. Besides if someone is starved for 2D metroid there's a lot of copycats nowadays that can satiate the thirst for that. Prime on the other hand has no such thing. And the distance between Prime 1, 2 and 3 was what?

They did her arms dirty - if you look at her right shoulder, it looks Starvin' Marvin's shoulder. Her proportions are all outta whack. And no, the point is that I disagreed with the idea that Nintendo has had banger E3s or consistent high quality output since the N64.

That I think The Wii, WiiU, and the later years of the 3DS were marred with shitty shovelware, nostalgia bait, bad games, and questionable business practices.

That I tuned out Nintendo directs as they had nothing that interested me for a long time, as I'm done with Mario Kart and Zelda. And reading people's opinions about them was 95% fanboys complaining about Smash DLC and Pokemon, and 5% forced memes like Kirby eating a car*.

Yes, we did. The last good one before that in 2007 (Prime 3). You could make the case for Samus Return in 2017, but it was a remake, and Nintendo pulled that fan remake before making it. Unless I'm missing something, that's 15 years of shitting on the fanbase with games like Other M and Federation Force, and the previously mentioned deleting of fan projects.
