Someone on his FB posted this picture.

That was him at the start of the latest TLC episode. He was cleaning his cat's litter box. The narration had him complaining about not having any pain meds and plotting to try and get more from Dr. Now.

I'm guessing Dr. Now did the surgery because without it, Steven would be dead ASAP. Yeah, Steven's a terrible human being, but a good doctor can't just say "Fuck you, you don't deserve to live." Even if he's thinking it, Dr. Now is still bound to try and save his patients' lives any way he can.

If anything, this whole Steven saga has given me more respect for the doctor and the show. After watching a few episodes, you get a sense of Dr. Now's method: he wants the patients to lose weight on their own before they have the surgery, to demonstrate that they understand what they have to do to get healthy after the surgery and live longer, better lives. Steven Assanti does not have the mental fortitude or tools to stick with the program at all, but in such a case, there's no more time to worry about programs or diets. It's "we do this or he dies. Worry about diets afterward."

Agreed that Justin needs to get out of that situation. If the store is doing okay, he should get his own place and find a therapist to nicely bitch-slap him a few times until he gets his shit sorted out. He's annoying, but not unsalvageable. Steven, on the other hand, may be beyond hope.

The only difference is now he won't die when he's 45. He'll just die when he's in his 50's.

The human body is amazingly resilient when you get down to it and it can recover from a lot of things. Problem is he's done so much damage to it for so long that even if by some miracle he manages to lose the weight completely, he's still cut off a couple decades from his lifespan.

The only difference is now he won't die when he's 45. He'll just die when he's in his 50's.

I cannot see that man living to his fifties. It just seems impossible to me, given the wreckage he's made of his body. Is he still leeching off of the dad? How old is he? I have a feeling when he goes, Steven will follow soon after.

Maybe. Don't know. I'm looking at a best case scenario here. He's still relatively young and I know people that are 400+ pounds who are in their 40's and still going strong even if they do get out of breath walking down the drive to get their mail. So it remains to be seen what happens to him but I think we can all agree that he's not living to see retirement age.

His brother is supposedly writing a tell-all book. I doubt he ever actually will, but I also would like to know how Steven tortured him, and why his father still gives into his demands. Was he like this as a child-a bully from the start, or did something happen? He’ll have one customer.

Steven us very loud, verbally abusive, obnoxious, and calls the cops a lot but he’s really not much of a personal threat. He’d be pretty easy to dodge or outrun.

Nurses in hospitals are rarely attentive. He should know that, ges been there enough. You do have to call them for help. The nicer you are, the more likely you’ll be to get it. The only surprising thing about that hospital video is that anybody came in at all. But it was a supervisor, all the aids said He’ll no! Who could blame them?

I don’t know how old he is, but unless he’s 49, I think 50 is a stretch. He just needs to get the flu for it to be over.

I have a god tier metabolism, so becoming this fat is impossible for me at my age, but if I even came within a 30% of this monsters size, I'd either fast until I'm anorexic or drink a potassium cyanide mixture. Those clots can hit the lung, heart or brain and be deadly. Mix it with an infection and he may not have the ability to survive.

But seriously he's supposedly had that for a long time and it's one of the sources of his leg pain. The other is the lymphedema from all that fluid build up. And the white count can mean infection but it could also be from inflammation, stress, trauma, allergies or even leukemia. Wouldn't that be a kick in the head? He starts losing the weight and taking this seriously and finds out it's not because of what he did but because he has blood cancer.

Lol he just says "JRPGS" for his favorite game and is too lazy to even bother with a specific answer (because FF7 and fucking Dark Souls can easily go hand and hand).
