Can someone tell on how much they should have to pay for a monthly rent in the motel they're staying right now?
Well, the Chandler's won't pay for squat unless it's food (and even than.. I think they get some food allowances) or other "extra" things. According to Chris, State Farm is renting them the place they're staying.
Until we know WHERE they're staying, it could be anywhere from a $400 a month shitter or a $1000 a month nicer abode. I don't think they're in a motel, I think they are legit in a small boarding house/apartment.
What people seem to not grasp is this: the Chandler's policy is good and valid with State Farm. Having a hoarding house means jack shit because they didn't intentionally start a fire. Their home owner's insurance never stated how much shit they could have in their house, so, having a lot of stuff (even hoarding levels) doesn't revoke their insurance. Had the known about the Horde, I'm sure State Farm would have either changed the insurance, dropped them from insurance, or upped their monthly payment... but they didn't know, so it is what it is. The treatment the Chandler's are getting is pretty standard with a lot of insurance packages... it's likely that they're in a one room (maybe even two, though unlikely) boarding facility that has one bathroom and a kitchenette. Not sure what's being done about a car, but some insurances will also rent a car for you to use (for so many miles of course).
