It's simple, he hasn't got lego money. Barb wont let them become penniless I don't think, she takes what she needs out of Chris's money. After mummy has come along and emptied Chris's account, he goes to facebook to bitch. He still has money, but not a lot. Not enough to spent $1000 a month on stuff he likes, which is what he did pre-fire. He thinks if he begs on facebook, people will give him more pocket money.

But it back fired, because we all went "he can't pay shipping nobody buy commissions", so he had to respond to that by saying "I'm not that poor" but then he probably forgot that line of thought and just went back to bitching.
 
This is one of those instances in which Chris sounds as if he's delivering a very half-hearted parody of his usual posting: "please give me more money please please dang trolls kthx

He has been saying money is tight all along. At one point he tried bringing up shipping costs as some sort of demonstration that he had legitimate expenses/attempt to extort money out of customers. He hadn't thought that one through all the way through, so when people very predictably said "better not buy his shit, he might not send it" he tried to backtrack.

As for the lego, I think there area a couple reasons he keeps buying it.
1. He has always said that he is spending 1/4 of his revenue on legos. Thus, only 3/4 of the revenue is up for grabs. A deal was made, and he isn't going to let his practical self take advantage of his lego-loving stuff.
2. Any excess money is going to be siphoned off by Barb. He has to turn it to lego, and do it quick, or it will be gone soon.

This is it exactly. He feels so entitled to have whatever toys he wants that a lack of toys is all he means when he claims to be desperate for money.

Son of a bitch he is making an army of bastard poke-hedgehogs. Back when the Mk. II Lego Sonichus were discovered, one of the photos helpfully pointed out that all their tails are in fact cannibalized from the cat (don't know which name it has) and are just that piece covered in crayola model magic. To my knowledge the only way to get that piece aside from buying it individually from collectors on bricklink (which we've established Chris has no goddamn idea exists) is to buy the same cat figure again and again and again.
 
He really should have lowered his prices and made up for it in volume. I bought GK's Pilot Epic Failure 1&2, had both of them signed for $18.
That was 32 color pages of failure, face palms and *sigh* for less than a signed CWC photograph.

As whiny as Chris is being, he comes across much better in the written word, where he can think a little bit longer. A video would consist of crazy stares into the camera, and a meandering diatribe as he loses the plot and touches on all of the familiar topics as they pop into his head: trolls, sonichu, ebay, loneliness, teeth, trolls, Cole, trolls, sonichu, poverty, ebay, sonichu, trolls and sonichu.

Yeah. You can only imply the loudness of your begging so much in all caps. Perhaps he needs to post a video on You Tube so he can shout really loud and there would be no mistake of how important this really is.

Thats the point. Both mediums will result in a broken record of begging; Video will provide more entertainment.

Don't. Seriously.

Ignoring for a moment that he's a liar and an asshole, this is still the guy that made two grand in a couple of weeks by sitting on his ass and mailing out signed mugshots. This in addition to the nearly 1K he pulls down each month in federal autism bux. If he's still going broke after all that, plus the donations and Barb's social security, well boohoo. This isn't some accident or act of god, this is the choice that he's made for himself. Essentially, he's made a decision that this is what he wants, so I say, let him have it.

At some point, if he wants to continue enjoying the perks that come with an adult lifestyle, he's going to have to realize that his actions have consequences. Ultimately, feeling bad for him or donating him things will only make the situation worse because it enables his current lifestyle.

You want to see him get better? Don't do shit. Crashing and burning is about the only way I can imagine him learning responsibility at this point. The only other alternative is him continuing on like he has, but that obviously can't last and he'll use whatever money and well-wishes he gets to construct an even bigger hole for himself. Save your sympathy and he might actually get better.

I don't think things will turn out okay for him and Barb until they've hit rock bottom. There has to be something that will cause them to wake up and realize their situation. Chris...Chris will never survive in the real world as is. To rebuild him, the foundations of laziness and egotism have to be demolished.
 
What will come next is going to be the perfect storm. Both Barb's and Chris's situation has been slowly building up into a ticking time bomb. Between financial ineptitude, Branchland Court not going to be rebuilt, Chris's Ebay well drying up, Lego purchases and repeated begging on Facebook, this is going to explode in Fatty's face in the worst possible way that it can. There's no crashing into slumber and ignoring it this time, either.
