Mount and Blade: Warband. Controls are fucking awful and the game just seems too slow-paced for me

I think the SR1 PC port is improved enough to be the best version with the wrace patch.I really like SR1, probably one of my top 10 PS1 games ever. That being said, it reminds me of MGSV: both games are amazing IMO, but both have so much cut content (I think SR1 suffers more from this than MGSV) that it just makes you wonder what the game could have been like if it was fully finished.
If you play SR1 again, go for the Dreamcast version, by far the best version of the game (and a better PC port than the actual PC port if you choose to emulate it)
That's my opinion of all of the games by that developer.I have never understood the appeal of skyrim, even with mods considered. Fallout 4 is similarly Not Good.
I also think that while Fallout: NV is a good game, it is wildly overrated.
I'm curious what your idea of a good open world game isThat's my opinion of all of the games by that developer.
GTA games are also terrible and would only appeal to people looking for a casual or party game, or 13-year old kids with severe ADHD who just want to mindlessly press buttons and watch things explode.
Seriously. Skyrim is essentially Baby’s First RPG. Frigging Oblivion gave you more to work with. It’s the Final Fantasy Mystic Quest of Western rpgs.I have never understood the appeal of skyrim, even with mods considered. Fallout 4 is similarly Not Good.

Agree wholeheartedly. I played Diablo 1 back in the day because Diablo 1 was popular and everyone played it. Then I realized that I really don't care about fountains of loot or builds or DPS or any of that. MMOs bores me to tears for the same reason. I suspect that part of the thrill in loot-games(and loot boxes) is the same as the appeal of slot machines and both requires a desire for gambling.Diablo. One, two and three. I don’t know what it is about them that I don’t care for, but I am always bored to tears by the end of the first region (chapter?). It feels incredibly grindy and repetitive— go to a dungeon and kill shit.
