Do you believe that this series will turn to shit?

We have two back to back episodes focused on Fizz and ozzy relationship and still no Millie driven episode. Not only is it waaaay too early for this, it's all shit that only vaguely related to blitzo.
I know many people liked the past two episodes cause it focused on Fizz, who is now the new fan-favorite, but all I can think of was this all really necessary. Like did we really need to focus on Fizz's trauma from his past, or his relationship with Asmodeus? It's not like it had anything to do with IMP itself or even Blitz for that matter. Hell, even the nothingness of the Queen Bee episode had some vague intentions with Blitz and his relationship with Loona. You can remove the latest episode and nothing would be lost. It's not like it will contribute to the grander story in any meanigful way since the show still runs in an episodic format instead of in serialization as it claims to be.

Honestly it feels like the only reason this show is still a comedy is either Viv's immaturity or Brandon Rogers being a writer still, and Brandon seems like a funny dude based on his videos (mainly as someone who tends to be comedy-focused, his humor is not for everyone). If he wasn't there, the show would probably be more of a soap opera with some bad jokes here and there.

Helluva on the other hand started season 2 with childhood crush and abusive wife drama. We have two back to back episodes focused on Fizz and ozzy relationship and still no Millie driven episode. Not only is it waaaay too early for this, it's all shit that only vaguely related to blitzo. I think people would at least give it a pass if was gradual and less frequent but at this point it's too late.

In actuality, the melodrama started way earlier in episode 2 dealing with Stolas having to comfort his daughter, when the pilot and first episode had him be a perverted asshole. Then episode 6 (as great as it was) had to deal with the character's personal demons that were barely built up towards or weird given there's more drama with Moxxie in later episodes, and Ozzie's too was more gay drama.

Helluva went too fast into the drama angle and it really says a lot when about half the episodes are pure episodic comedy at least in season 1.

Adventure Time and Regular show, say what you will about their drama elements at least built up towards it over the past few seasons, and even in later seasons, at least sticks to the genre it was claiming to be a part of.

Helluva Boss is now a musical drama first, and a comedy second. It feels like the show barely has any jokes anymore, and really feels like stuff you'd expect of a teenager's Helluva boss fanfic.

Looking a this thread (though not actually watching the series much), I realised something: both series are the apotheosis of what is wrong with left-wing media.

In general, eft-wingers say that right-wingers lack a sense of humour, but left-wingers believe tha the apotheosis of humour and relatability would be gorily shooting out an innocent nun's brains. Worse, if the higher-ups ay '...okay. We shal let you do that skit, but at least have the gun shoot a harmless, happy and colourful rainbow, instead. That would at least add absurdism and a bait-and-switch type of joke', the left-wingers would scream 'GO BAVJ TO DAIDU ARABOA, HUTLET!! WERE GOING TO ADD MORE PROFANITY BECAUSE WE WANT TO EPIKKLY PWN YOU FASCISTS!'

Another general thing is that left-wingers claim that right-wingers have no creativity and can only rip off actually good stuff, but left-wingers think tha the apotheosis of creativity is recycling with DEI: colourwashing, girlswapping, and especially queering, especially if the recycled character is trans.

All these apotheoses converge into the Hazbin Hotel universe: plenty of 'mature audiences only' stuff, plenty of 'diversity', but not much else.

I just noticed tha the 'mature audience' humour and 'iversity' can clash because shooting a Latino, even if that Latino was truly, honestly a bad guy, would be 'fascist'.

Do you have a typing impediment?

I'll play a little bit of Devil's Advocate and say the follow up episodes for the Agents or CHERRUB taking a while is pretty standard for (what should be) a serialized series. Revenge episode plots usually don't occur until like a season or so later.
That said, it's usually because it's filled with standard filler, serialized episodes and not melodramatic love crap spanning between each episode.

You’re honestly retarded. Politics has nothing to do with Helluva being shit nor is it “left-wing comedy”, the show is barely a comedy and focuses on retarded fujoshi plotlines. Hell the only people killed now are one note villain demons that wouldn’t be out of place in a children’s Saturday morning cartoon show than any humans.

Given how the show works, I imagine it would be resolved in one episode, and the focus would be some shit like Moxxie/Stolas gets captured (end is a well done animated sequence where Blitzo or Millie kill a lot of people) or some random fujo shit like how suddenly Blitzo and Stolas were highschool sweethearts or some bullshit while the more interesting shit is relegated to a C plot.

That would be fine if the show was better paced. The idea of IMP getting in trouble for messing around on earth has been brought up in the early episodes, but it's never treated as that big of a deal. If this was more along the pilot where demons and humans interact with each other normally, it wouldn't be that bad. But it's not. There's apparently these rules that must be follow, but no one is following them, and no one cares that they're being broken.

Hell, if you wanted to focus more on the relationship drama, why not on the fact that we have a higher class powerful demon, getting it on with a lower class demon. Isn't that considered taboo? Oh wait, I guess not, since we have two other high class demons in a relationship with a lower class demon out in the open, and no one seems to bat an eye. See, this is why I can't take Mammon's threat of "you'll regret this" to Asmodeues because it's just so empty.

My God Viv. You have more interesting plots that you could write about, but you rather focus on the more boring and typical "will they, won't they" plot.

Don’t worry it will be followed through when Fizz or Asmodeus gets kidnapped or gets hurt. Then it’s super sad how the other will cry that their lover got hurt.

Social condemnation is too icky unless it’s by an evil elite where the gay boy can just say “Fuck you” too and the audience will cheer.

I shall give you... everything. Your comment is right.

I guess that I am trying to say that... just look at the fan-art in Tumblr or X. Half of the art in the SJW Art thread is that way: a lot of 'fans' just ignore the setting, take whatever characters they like, then 'queerwash' them before making them an 'uwu kawaii couple owo'. Despite all of the excuses they give, the whole thing is just them being fujoshi.

One common reaction they get is: 'Stop messing with canon and do your own stories!' Hazbin Hotel is the result: many of the same things you find in fan-art in Tumblr and X are integral parts of Vivziepop's series. The settings of Hell, Heaven, Earth, and the Happy Hotel are just Excuse Plots: her series is actually just a series of X-Rated jokes held together by gay fetishism. Vivziepop truly, honestly believes that her X-Rated jokes are the apex of humour and that her gay fetishism is the apex of creativity, but the lack of anything else, including worldbuilding and character development, makes her cartoons vapid. Her attempts at actual story are just equally vapid melodrama probably based on her own way of dealing with things and definitely because they get in the way of more fujoshi stuff.

The only thing that really interest me is the mass variety of the character designs, and even then others are explaining that those designs have more monotony than at first glance.

My main problem with Vivz isn't that she can't create characters, because she's actually really good at that. It's that she creates characters with incredible potential and then just DROPS them. What the FUCK?

Why have we not had C.H.E.R.U.B. again? Where are the D.H.O.R.K.S.?

And that's the other main Vivz issue. Turning your own show into a fanfic of itself. What the fuck.

I agree with most of this, though can you really queerwash the characters in this show, when like 90% of all the characters are either gay or bisexual?

Bingo. Without fan characters that you can queerwash, you have to make your own. However, since the same Twitter/X/SJW Fan-Art mentality stays even in the original works, the original characters end up being fujoshi fuel because they both come from the same idea: queer fetishisation. The difference is that, instead of replacing a canon character with an idealised idea, the character is borne idealised from the beginning.

And they're all in HELL.

What did Vivz mean?

I mean seriously. Shouldn't there be SOME heterosexual people in Hell?

Even her characters don't stay characters. For Viv, every character is just an opportunity for "[Character] may APPEAR to be [personality], but underneath it all he's really just a smol soft gay boi." It happened to Blitzo, it happened to Stolas, it happened to Fizz in the span of a single episode. It seems like it's happening to Moxxie despite being straight and Loona despite being a chick.

It was funny at first, but now I'm honestly kinda concerned about Viv's state of mind.
