I have an inactive thread about me here, and it's on the first page when you Google my name. What kind of jobs can I expect to be able to be hired at?

Barbra Streisand effect is alive and well I see.

Should've just kept your mouth shut and it wouldn't get brought back up :story:
Literally nobody knows who OP is, so any thread that's brought up could be the wrong one unless someone somehow knows who that is from OP's IP address.

Considering that most employers wouldn't care of what the farms say about some dude, that must mean OP likely did something very disgusting like raping animals or children to even care about his own thread, so I'd put my bet on Isabella Janke, but even then it could be Jessica Yaniv or Hypnotist Sappho for all I know.

Contrary to what the rainbow brigade likes to say about us, we aren't some cabal of evil people whose sole purpose is to make people miserable. we're just here to laugh at stupid people on the internet. like others have said, a polite request to Null has a far better chance of getting it deleted, IF you're willing to risk a dead thread about you being dragged into the limelight for us to vote on. There was one last year in fact, some girl who did Cringy cosplay, and the forums voted to delete the thread.

But, if you're going to do that then you better be telling the truth about having changed. Because it coming up for a vote means people will go looking.

Bit of PL here, but I remember I had out of curiosity googled someone's name that floated into a work inbox and they had a KF thread in the search results. While their concern wasn't trying to secure employment, I made a note to actively avoid reaching out to that person since they were randomly cold emailing and finding the thread here was just more icing on the cake. Actual HR demons don't give a fuck about KF threads so this is probably just a vanity thread. If you are unhireable in some way, it's not because you have a thread on this site.

There is no way to quietly get a thread taken down. The fact you've posted this thread means that people are going to have their eyes open and will notice the thread being taken down.

Easiest way if you're actually worried is just change your name. The fact that your dormant thread comes up first is a sign that you have a unique name, so telling people that "I never really liked the name xyz blah blah, I always felt like more of a abc blah blah" when they find out you changed your name won't raise as many eyebrows.

The fact the thread is dead is a sign you probably aren't the biggest sperg, but to have a thread on here it means that you're probably at least pretty autistic or weird. The fact that you're coming to this site for advice in this matter shows you're still a little retarded, too.

I doubt you'll make the right choices in this matter, and I look forward to finding out what your thread is and reading about whatever spergy shit you did that you want buried. Cheers!

Rules of Nature is a thing here, even if it is not commonly used. If you were just some cosplay shithead or minor dunce (IE did not rape animals or something) you can send a polite email and it might get put to a vote if we remove the thread or not.

You've changed a lot in less than 2 years?

Sure Isabella.
Have you tried googling "Isabella Loretta Janke" lately? Her Kiwi Farms thread is literally the least of her worries at this point.

Doubt it. That thread was only just created Thursday night, is already deleted, and judging from the conversation in the Lucas Werner thread may or may not have been some gay-op failed halal dox of a complete rando.

Be careful. Asking for removal will raise your profile above the trench.

Carry on with your life and forget about it.

There's the right to be forgotten legislation in Europe, Argentina and I think the Philippines or Malaysia or something like that, that you can make a formal application under to have things deindexed. So plan on moving to Europe and do that I guess

Either option will cost but are viable

Wandered back for a peek (because I honestly half expect OP to have been re-doxed by now), and since I currently have no ill will against the OP ...

OP? See this quoted post?

DO NOT FUCKING DO THIS. Forget you even saw it. It does not exist.

This would be the absolute fastest way you could choose of getting on Null's shit list except for showing up on his mother's doorstep.

OK, it'd be funny for us to watch, but for you it is a terrible idea.

Obviously a professional job on the level of engineer or programmer is ruled out, but what about McDonald's or Walmart or something?
there are lolcows with jobs you know. right now chibi works for AT&T making a decent salary and he is a fucking mess. you aren't worse than chibi are you?
you can always change the spelling of your last name. unless you are applying to work with kids or a government job the employer probably isn't going to run that exhaustive background check.
also what college degree are you pursuing where you plan to work at mcdonalds??

Depends on what you did, but if it wasn't that bad the thread probably wouldn't hurt your employability too badly.

I guess it depends on how they go about doing it, if they go to Null with this law they are fucked, if they go directly to google to request delisting the result it might work, but then again google will notify websites if their links have been delisted so it might backfire.

So I concur, it's probably not a good idea unless you can somehow convince google to delist it quietly. Would not recommend this course of action.

No one but people who use this site take anything said on kiwifarms seriously, the majority of the world doesn’t even know this website exists and the small fraction that do claim everything posted on here to be lies/not to be trusted because this site is full of evil KKK racist far-right transphobes. As has already been stated unless you did something completely fucked like zoosadism/pedo shit I doubt your employer would care about you posting stupid furry cringe or whatever it was you were posted here for in the first place. It’s also very unlikely an employer on the level of McDonalds or Walmart will give a shit.

Also the Isabella tinfoiling in this thread is cringe as hell.

This pretty much, there is recruitment software that searches for court cases etc, but I don't think many employers google peoples names simply because most times they won't get the person they googled and can't be assed or don't have the time to hunt and verify you are that person. Coworkers will probably bring it up if they find it. Whether shit tier job employers actually care or not is a coin toss, if the place has a high turnover of staff, they'll excuse all kinds of shit.

Also the Isabella tinfoiling in this thread is cringe as hell.
Threw it out there because it just seemed to match. No one is allowed to speculate?
