I have an inactive thread about me here, and it's on the first page when you Google my name. What kind of jobs can I expect to be able to be hired at?

I don't know if you'll be able to get your thread removed, quite frankly- but you may have some luck getting is locked. It happened to @BSV and the guy who wanted to become a tampon if I'm not mistaken for not being "lulzworthy" anymore

Whatever happens OP I hope you're able to find some kind of stability and peace going forward- I've experienced dark times in my past as well, the key is to learn from them and do your best to make sure they don't happen again. The story of Alma The Younger might be helpful if you are OK with reading scripture.

If you have contacted Nool and he hasn't even given you the time of day, you will never get a "Rules of Nature" vote. Either you are irredeemable, or you're still threadworthy. As far as I know, Nool doesn't just ignore people straight up without a good reason. If he won't even write back to tell you you're a nigger, you have no hope.

Depending on how bad the thread is, an employer might not care. I used to do hiring, and I have hired people with past criminal records. Never ones with assault or sex crimes though because those people deserve the wall. But if the person had an old DUI charge or an old drug charge, I’d still consider them if they were qualified. Actually, one of our best guys was a guy who couldn’t get a job anywhere because he had been arrested for possession of pills. We gave him a shot because he was honest about his past, and didn’t try to hide anything (I used to hate when applicants would lie and say they’ve never been arrested only to find out otherwise - lying is never a good idea imo, no matter what it’s about).

My advice would be honesty. If your thread involved a criminal past, be upfront about it.
Don’t let it hinder you from applying though. Some companies, especially with the recent labor shortage, probably won’t even care.

the fact that you refuse to reveal any specifics but act like it makes you unhireable makes me think that you did something worse than be a cringe furry on twitter or something

if all you did was post some cringe shit on the internet two years ago then just move on and forget no employer will give a fuck

if you did something super cringe and there's an imgur album out there that solely consists of your weird ugly cock then change your name

if you did something super illegal like groom kids or fuck animals, then, idk. neck yourself i guess?

Just go by your middle name no one can google you if they don't know what you're really called. Unless you were stupid enough to post your middle name online too...

Anyway chances are if a co-worker is googling your name they already think you're a weirdo anyway.

- Ask Null to remove and hope it is, or the result of a removal poll is in your favour.
- If that fails, post in your thread saying you've changed and have quietly asked for it to be removed with no success but you still want to move on with your life now that you're an ex-lolcow and aren't embarrassing online anymore.
- If that backfires, change your name, and be satisfied you have left an honest post stating you have grown up and don't identify with being cringe now.
- Make new social media with boring shit on it under your new name.
- Tell employers that you changed your name due to stalking/harassment if they ask. Anyone seriously interested in looking at your thread if it pops up during a background check or cursory Google for your previous name will see your update and believe we're a Nazi doxing hell site full of autismos and probably admire you for owning up and getting your shit together.
- If you touch kids, fuck animals, or are a proper freak with extensive evidence of your utter fucking degeneracy, then disregard everything I've just said and go work at McDonald's.

Good luck.
