If you had a bunch of people standing in a line, and there was an express lane for "Disabled" shoppers but no evidence was required, and all of a sudden a bunch of scumbags started calling themselves disabled in order to get an easy pass, someone would have to be kind of retarded to go "fucking handicapped people, they're the worst". You can't provide a major incentive to adopt a certain identification then use the (very predictable) results as evidence to characterize that group.

Obviously if calling yourself a tranny gives you power and control, then trannies are going to be psychopaths.
If we lived in another time, people like Liz Fong Jones or Jonathan Yaniv would be calling themselves something else because they're parasitic subhumans with no integrity, not because they're trannies.

Although even the above isn't really a legitimate argument, because transexuality isn't real, so there's no trans people to blame or vindicate. Just lots of flavors and degrees of dysfunctional people using buzzwords.

Personal experience and feelings cannot and should not override objective reality that is easily observable. If your emotions go against reality, you're mentally ill, and you should be helped.
Also, you should NEVER be allowed to inject your delusions in society.

I always wonder if trans people just said "i'm roleplaying" people would be more accepting. I knew tons of people who spent all day ERPing as women in chat rooms and never trooned out, because they could distinguish the fantasy of being a woman from needing the physical reality of being a woman.
 
I respect Rose of Dawn. She acknowledges that her need to be a woman is mental-illness and that she will never be a real biological woman, but she knows the larp was the only way to cope with that illness. She's very sweet and often includes baby seal clips in her videos when she talks about the monsters in the trans community to soften the blow


However I am worried something bad has happened to her because she hasn't uploaded a video in a year. She's in Britain so either the troongoons have got to her or she's been arrested by the plod for wrongThink.

Respecting individuals you come to know is different than respecting whole groups. As long as they acknowledge they suffer from an illness, they're fine by me. I might even call them their pronouns. But the moment they demand treatment based on that delusion, all respect stops.
It's not just about trannies. If some dude comes to me with gastrointestinal ulcers and I show him the xrays with a large wound on his stomach, and he says "nah that's not really there, I'm fine", I'll treat them the same way.
Don't fight reality and we're cool.
I don't think that's much to ask. I wanna be 6'4 too and participate in dunk contests. I wanna run a 2 hrs marathon like Kipchoge. Well tough luck, my genetics ain't cutting it. Some people are better designed for some tasks than others. This should not be controversial.

Just like with any group or identity: most are normal people who want to live their lives in peace, trans people are no exception. There is a difference between a tranny and a troon. The former is the nice weird guy who does his thing and does not bother you, the latter is the guy who will break your legs because you did not declare his correct pronoun.

I think the mental illness debate has become a weapon of choice for those who cannot come up with a better argument against their opponents. I define mental and physical illness as a condition that is both debilitating and prevents the "victim" from doing something they need or want. If I want to run and cut off my legs: I am mentally/physically ill. But if I then add advanced prosthetic legs that allow me to run faster than Usain Bolt, then I am not mentally/physically ill anymore (unless I desire biological legs, then I am a retard). Same thing with the trans community: most just want the benefits of the other gender and are willing to live with the downside of their new gender. While I may laugh at some of them, I see no reason to be hostile against them, we all do stupid shit, just laugh it off.

I am concerned with Dyn's attempt at being the next Jesus Christ by loving everyone, except thegooddoctor. I fear it will turn Kiwifarms into Kiwidesert. I mean I am all for loving thy neighbor, but we need to laugh and shitpost about someone.
