I think it's been repeatedly discussed that there is no more reasonable time. Start earlier, then you play in the same block as Josh streams. Start later, all the amerimutts are already asleep. Starting *much* earlier, around noon EST might work, I guess? But who the hell'd show up then?

I may gut this whole thing and replace it with something better later. It's ancient shitcode, and we now have proper gaussian functions to replace it. My idea would be a "biased" gaussian – you press an arrow in the UI to bias the distribution upward or downward, probably by adding a second offset gaussian to keep it simple. Really weak, but better than hoping for the blessing of RNG Jesus. Could be another reason to get an upgrade from RnD.
I also believe that radiation currently doesn't fuck with your DNA at all. Maybe it should. Enough radiation should melt your fucking face off (mess with your UI and turn you into a negrito).

I've also had a dream of shoving Ian into the genetics modifier, scrambling the DNA and getting out a Slobbermutt. Is it a superior or a primitive form? Who the fuck knows.
