Let's Sperg Mods to De-wokify Woke Games - It's up to the player to fix everything

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I find anti DEI mods hilarious but can see this entire thing turning into a giant structure fire against modding. EA is already wounded and looking to lash out after the studio closure and titanfall sequel imploding.

To be fair, how do you de-woke a game by making a dwarf into an elf, in a fantasy rpg?
height increasing surgeries.
would you like to know more?
Lots of NV and FO3 weapons, clothes and armor, creature replacers, mechanics. It doesn't hit, as the kids say.
Trying to turn Fallout 4 into anything more than a mindless shooting gallery is brutal. Quest mods especially are pure suffering. I don't know what it is, but Skyrim has much better quests and quest mods all around. FO4 quest mods and shit like Folon just feel so empty in comparison to a 3.6 gigabyte Kirkbride deep lore fanfic.
you only have youself to blame, the regular modder has no idea about the 50~60's US era themes nor wishes to consume media about it, fantasy stuff however? they will do it easily.

I mean it's only a small part of the mod where it changed a lot of the black and Asian-looking folks (both humans, elves, dwarves, halflings) back to white. Basically their rationale is that Baldur's Gate in Dungeon & Dragons Forgotten Realms lore is a majority-human city (60%) and wanted the game to reflect that in the lore. Majority of the NPCs you meet in the city are midgets (halflings, dwarves), which is a bit jarring, so the mod authors (orinEsque, Silver, loregamer) converted them into taller folks like humans and elves for an ideal demographic of a majority-human city. I think it's better to take their word and autism for it:

Goodbye midgets, you won’t be missed

We had an insane amount of fun playing BG3 multiplayer with No Alphabets and BBA turned on—absolute chaos, in the best way. But then we hit Act 3 and the abysmally low number of humans had us going: Excuse me? WTF!?

So Silver went running around BG3 with cheat speed, hunting down every NPC that needed de-midgeting. She was supposed to handle this part solo… but she found over 400. FFS, Larian.

So, I put my programmer socks back on and handled nearly all the swaps. Once that was done, Silver came in with all her beautiful unique edits using the toolkit. (Thanks, Larian, for the modding toolkit—seriously). With Swaps mod in place the game is so so so much better than it was. I should go actually play it now :hmm:

We cured Vitiligo

You Reddit cunts accused me of removing Vitiligo all this time, so it's high time I actually did it.

A Note about races

This is a RACE-ist mod . We fix fantasy races and woke slop. While this mod makes most humans white, BG remains a Mediterranean-like city with Turkey (Amn) and Middle East (Calimshan) just south of it. So there are tanned and middle eastern toned people, and sometimes with appropriately foreign faces as well. You'll also find one or two merchants from foreign lands (Karatur) and even some Chults that are visiting as part of the Zhentarim network. The latter is a bit of a stretch but there was a head model to use, so we used it. This author is a fedora tipping centrist that differentiates between black individuals and niggers. But also: Nigger. If that triggered you, you can go whine to your wife's boyfriend.

Is there a way we (I mean the site) could just host these types of black listed mods.
I mean, you can upload these mods on the Kiwi Farms because someone did it for the Oblivion Remastered "Body Type Remover" mod in The Elder Scrolls thread. I'm more hesitant to do so in this case because my discretion is that I really do not want to see a legal battle between Kiwi Farms and EA over a mod that doesn't even work in the game anymore. You're free to upload it in accordance to your discretion.

For a site like RPGHQ where a big part of their community is modding, mostly "de-wokifying mods," EA's actions may encourage other publishers to do the same which can destroy the site, hence why a legal battle for RPGHQ may be inevitable.

How does that one particular individual mod warrant a DMCA? They want to be able to literally pick and choose how you can modify the game?
I don't think it's about the mod, but who hosts the mod. I doubt they will go after Nexus Mods because it is the largest modding website and a DMCA takedown will turn millions of people against EA (again) and inevitably create a more destructive Streisand Effect. But some random small RPG forum with little to no legal resources to fight back? It's an easy picking for EA to go after.

I can say with no hyperbole that The Sims 4 is a shambling corpse held up solely by modding. EA bringing the hammer down on the modding scene would destroy any value 4 has. The only positives 4 has over the rest of the series are graphics (which aren't THAT much better than 3 if you're looking at a stock install of 4) and an active modding scene. I guess you could add the ease of use of CAS but CAS also only has 2 item columns in an unmodded game and a blue void background with shit lighting.

Sims 4 sucks in general but this is pretty incredible.

We've been told (and I used to believe years ago) that these corporations only care about DEI because A: they think it somehow appeals more to the mass market, and B: minorities and women are cheaper to employ than skilled white men.
This situation is rock solid proof that the situation is much more sinister than that. It does not benefit EA to take down this mod. If anything, there's every financial incentive to allow it to stay. They want you and your children poisoned and they'll go to any length to ensure it happens.
Fuck EA, fuck DEI, and honestly fuck leftists as a whole. It's time to make a trade deal with Russia where we drop every American leftist off in Siberia (free labor) in return for a few million cold war rifles or something

i like simulator games and have given sims 3 and 4 several chances through the years but man the sims has always just bored the shit out of me, i don't understand how people find it fun.

Itt: rightoids proving yet again that they're the most fragile snowflakes on the entire planet.
Dog
what DEI mod do I have to install to get you to speak less?
The little bitch remover 2.0? or the RAT cleanser total BITCH rehaul?

whatever race you are, it needs to be gone. YESTERDAY
Don't care if it's my own, GONE

LOL
I once made a nigger remover mod for sims 4 two-three years ago since i was using a pirated copy.
That shit was hard as fuck i had to go through so much fucking shit to get it to work and i did it by overwriting the nigger skins with white ones although i crashed out afterwards because i didn't want to have to do the same for all the fucking nigger hairstyles.
there's so many fucking dreadlock hairstyles.

Anyway kudos to the fag who made the DEI deletion mod, that probably took fucking heaps of work.

That aspect of the mod seems to be more for the sake of consistency with the Forgotten Realms DnD setting than an anti-woke statement. I mainly played DnD during 2nd and 3.5 editions so I'm not sure if they still do this in 5e books, but in the setting guide books back then they used to include full demographic breakdowns on the populations of the various cities, towns, and kingdoms of Faerun, race included.

So for example if you picked up Volo's Guide to Baldur's Gate, it would tell you exactly how many people lived in the city, how many were Human, Elf, Dwarf etc. and even what socioeconomic status each race trended towards. Now a lot of lore purists (autists) don't think that BG3 represents the established canon demography of Baldur's Gate very well, as that region of the Sword Coast has traditionally been portrayed as particularly Human dominated, with minorities of Half-Elves, Elves, Dwarves, Halflings, and Gnomes.

Now if you're a normie who just wants to play a crpg and whack it off to Shadowheart or Lae'zel then this is going to seem utterly asinine, but if you're an autist (which let's be real, everyone on rpghq absolutely is) then I get why something like proper demographic representation in a fantasy game would get people riled up, especially one as heavily chronicled as the Forgotten Realms.

because you don't like seeing shit play itself or set a goal when playing, i do not know how women play the sims, i'm not a woman and i will never be one.
You're not missing out. Inzoi in time will probably have it beat as a dollhouse/dress up game. The rest of the series has it beat as a video game with actual gameplay. Install a repack of 2 or 3 and enjoy.
inzoi gets a few things right but it's in Unreal Engine, which means it can't be easily modded so there you have it, outside being a fad for now i can bet it won't last much as you have to work really fucking hard to make a non-gook looking character, something that is a fatal flaw for any game that wishes to top the sims franchise because women ☕
i do like that inzoi didn't let fag relations go for a while and that got fags all uppity to a point it was covered by another faggot.

I don't believe they even really care about the mod itself, they're testing the reaction of the forum. If it was just about an anti-woke mod it would make more sense to target someone like zero, since her mods are functional, make money, piss off the rest of the community, and are hosted on Patreon. RPGHQ keeps going viral and embarrassing companies, so I think they're looking for avenues to neuter it.

The admin rusty_shackleford has revealed that Electronic Arts Inc. (EA) has sent a DMCA claim to all of RPGHQ's service providers as a threat to de-platform the site.

In spite of it all, RPGHQ has decided to call EA's bluff. Since the original author of the mod "DEI Remover" for The Sims 4 is not from the United States, one of the American users of the site has decided to re-upload the mod but with any contents that they believe to be infringing removed. The user then gave that mod to another American user Hurtyy, who has re-uploaded the mod with the intention to challenge EA and bear the burden of the lawsuit with the resource capability to do so.

Here is the "DEI Remover" mod that is now re-uploaded onto RPGHQ for public access and download: https://rpghq.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=249149#p249149 (Archive)

The idea is that since the mod was uploaded into the site under the good-faith belief that the material uploaded is legal and non-infringing. If it receives a copyright strike, then Rusty would be legally obliged to take it down temporarily to maintain safe harbor protection. Once Hurtyy issues a counter-notice, Rusty would be legally obliged to put the mod back up unless EA files a suit against Hurtyy, as under the rules in Section 512, he is not responsible for anything Hurtyy does.

With the news, Rusty has re-enabled public access to the mods made by users of RPGHQ, especially the publicly known "de-wokifying" mods for Baldur's Gate 3 and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.

Hurtyy intending to defend against EA through the justice system.

Meanwhile, Rusty has used resources from Null's United States Internet Preservation Society (USIPS) relating to Creativity and Expression in matters relating to the DMCA and the abuse enabled by it to counter claims from users of a rival forum (RPGCodex).

This opens up the possibility that RPGHQ may become the first third-party website that USIPS will legally cover or provide legal resources to as it faces any legal challenges, especially from game publishers, as the Internet gets smaller.
