There's an infectious disease, which is actually a retooled version of something that already existed in the series. I don't think it'll be front and center and important to the main story, but there's a couple lines like "I should have masked up" and "There's people who still deny the existence of [disease]".
If its RAGE from MK vs DC, Im going to fucking flip
Also, its funny because we are reaching a point where even Covidians are rolling their eyes and saying "that shit is old" (not old enough as to remove requiring vax on planes because there is nothing more permanent than a temporary gov measure).
Speaking of MK11's story, what now? They have rebooted the timeline twice so what do we do from here?
Like Injustice 2, MK11 has a good and evil ending. As for which one will be canon (since its extremely unlikely they will handle both), will be most likely the good one. Probably will bring Onaga back or something, build on the discarted plots of the S2 of MK comic because the first one didnt sell well (but the plots were already done and they serve for background info like why Goro is dead).
I dont know, its amazing how they took a setting with so many possibilities like MK and just kind of weakened it.
I think the weakness of the series right now is, ironically, its cinematic approach. I before think that MK of old was mostly more akin to comic books, anime and mythology. Cinema is a more restrict way of storytelling, despite it being more fancy.
