Oscars 2022

It was obviously staged.

Think about it. If you want to beat up someone for going on about your wife in front of you, you are not going to walk away after one pissy slap and cry afterward. You are going to beat the shit out of the person (or atleast try) dissrespecting your family.

He was nicer to the guy fucking his wife than Chris Rock making fun of her haircut. Its obvious he doesn't care about how much disrespect he gets. This is either a stunt to revitalize Smith's public image after his cuck-kening, bring more viewers to the Oscars, or likely, both.

What doesn't make sense about that theory though, is if that was a staged stunt- why did he pathetically end his speech with that embarrassing comment about how he hoped the Academy would invite him back? He wouldn't have to worry about that if it was planned.

Also since when does the Oscars allow stunts with that much F bombs?

Rumors going around about how he should be disqualified and may lose the Oscar altogether; I’m skeptical; But, Will’s apology tangent is fucking comical. What a cuckhold he turned out to be.

It's too late. He should have been kicked out, stripped of the nomination during the awards show.

Instead, he wasn't, everyone applauded him. Then he went out and partied the night away.

There's no saving face to be had. So it doesn't matter if they strip him of it. Everyone will now go, "but what about these assholes with oscars."

It's just an utter failure of the Hollywood establishment. Stripping him of the oscar now does no good and is pointless.

There's plenty of reasons why I think it's real. One I don't remmber Chris Rock being that good of a actor

He's not a good actor. Chris is a comedian. Yeah, he's in some films, but clearly acting isn't his best talent. Also, he legitimately looked lost for a moment, after that slap, and had to bring it back. Because of course, Will choosing to jump up on stage and act like a tool was not planned.

Yeah just that weird pause where he looks clearly for direction after Will decided to be a sperg

Exactly. I'd say it's a unplanned moment the same way Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty reading the wrong movie winner was. Which was another well talked about Oscar moment. It's live television, so it happens sometimes.

This one just happens to me much more hilarious.

It still amazes me that the Oscars hosted in 2014 by the queen of mean herself (Ellen) garnered almost 50M viewers but within a decade fell off a cliff. Maybe they should just make it an hour long at the most and nominate films that people actually GAF about.

Anyways, all I know is that the slapping incident lead to Will Smith being called a cuck online. Will's probably still pissed at Jada for allegedly fucking that young rapper and using Chris as a scapegoat.
That 2014 Oscars was the last time I remember it being a good show.

I just want to remind everyone that the people who talked about this incident are not just the Americans, pretty much everyone around the world are talking about it. Hell, even my mother did last night. So this extremely public Black on Black Violence is definitely going to influence how people worldwide see the niggers

All those virtue signaling for years are thrown out of the window because of the action of a single cuck

People still debate whether or not the streaker was staged -- even though it has been established that the whole thing was.

Interesting tidbits from this article
It was shortly after the moment of silence that The Incident happened. Now, I am sure there will be much commentary over the coming days about why Smith slapped Rock and who was more in the wrong (answer: Smith). But as I was in the theatre when it happened, and not a million miles away from Rock, I would like to point out a few oddities about the whole thing.

1. It’s quite weird that Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith were fine with the host Regina Hall joking about their open marriage early in the evening, but not with Rock joking about Pinkett Smith’s hair, no?

2. To all the people saying Rock’s jokes were dickish, it’s a good thing you didn’t hear Schumer completely roasting everyone else in the room earlier in the evening, and none of them slugged her in the face.

3. No one in the auditorium knew at first whether this was all a joke or not, and nor, it seemed, did Smith. I watched his reaction to Rock’s joke and at first he laughed. Then he saw how annoyed his wife was, then he realised the whole audience saw that because the camera was on her, then he got angry and got up to slap Rock. However anyone wants to spin it, he went on quite an emotional journey.

4. When Smith then claimed in his, um, let’s just call it his acceptance speech that he had been “protecting” his family, just as he “protected Aunjanue” Ellis during the making of King Richard, Ellis did not look best pleased. And who could blame her?

5. Judging by Smith’s general demeanour, I would say Geoffrey the butler needs to give him a good talking to.

Also she made fun of Reddit, lol
So instead I went up to Mr Serena, AKA Alexis Ohanian, the co-founder of Reddit. What Reddit threads was he expecting to see on tonight’s awards?

Are the viewing figures in, yet? I wanna see how many millions more people have watched that slap on youtube than watched another long, shitty show full of millionaires jerking each other off.
