When they learned Winston was actually just a gorilla. When did the Overwatch fandom started sperging about representation in the game?
I think the cancer happened when they talked about the game being "inclusive."When did the Overwatch fandom started sperging about representation in the game?
They never did. When did the Overwatch fandom started sperging about representation in the game?
Since the beginning. It only got worse when Tracer and Soldier 76 were revealed to be gay. When did the Overwatch fandom started sperging about representation in the game?
Yeah but they never did anything with it because they were too terrified to waste story on OW1 when OW2 was in the pipeline. Then that never happened because talent runs away from Blizzard like niggers from cops, and now it is happening, but nobody cares and they killed Mercy's VA andAlso, Overwatch had a global-like setting, so consoomers would expect more globohomo crap.
What? For fuck's sake. This is Iceman all over again. Pick a character nobody cares about, make him gay anyway, both sides are annoyed. If they had any balls they'd have done it to McCree. Coal-burning Cassidy, changed his name for the gay BBC videos.Soldier 76 were revealed to be gay.
Are you referring to the original Mercy's actor in the beta, Lucie Pohl, or the Brazilian voice actor?Yeah but they never did anything with it because they were too terrified to waste story on OW1 when OW2 was in the pipeline. it gets worse if you believe the theory they only did it after they got shit for some hongkong thing when it was the big thing years back. What? For fuck's sake. This is Iceman all over again. which was my point, people didn't settle on a game based on quality, gameplay or genre, but popularity and marketing. But they all pretty much tried to be the next 'Overwatch Killer' I guess and tried to steal Overwatch's audience to follow a trend.
They were distinct, but pretty much everyone settled for a hero shooter/MOBA at that time and didn't switch, so nobody ended up playing those games.
failing by still pulling over an estimated million people per month across all platforms? and if you don't wanna go with estimates, over a million have pre-ordered the latest expansion even after all the shitty stunts. sure, those are not fortnite numbers, but then compare it to stuff like halo. bunghole also just got bought by sony, they'll be shitting out games for a long while...bungie and destiny broke away from actiblizz and they are failing even harder
Nope. It doesn't. If you release your game-as-a-service to steal from the audience of a currently successful game at the peak of its success, might as well take that money and spend it in a casino.Which was my point, people didn't settle on a game based on quality, gameplay or genre, but popularity and marketing.
GAAS also wasn't the reason they were failing.
Nobody cares about Destiny.failing by still pulling over an estimated million people per month across all platforms?
almost like GAAS is a factor, but not the sole reason, who would've guessed. but then you think a different genre is a gimmick and people would "leave" a game that wasn't even released at that point....Nope. It doesn't. If you release your game-as-a-service to steal from the audience of a currently successful game at the peak of its success, might as well take that money and spend it in a casino.
And they weren't that good to warrant leaving OW to play them. Most of them just had a different gimmick or two.
only the million people who preordered the latest expansion.Nobody cares about Destiny.
You talking specifically Battleborn?almost like GAAS is a factor, but not the sole reason, who would've guessed. but then you think a different genre is a gimmick and people would "leave" a game that wasn't even released at that point....
Not very politically correct of them to have a Brazilian voicing a Swiss bitch. Are you referring to the original Mercy's actor in the beta, Lucie Pohl, or the Brazilian voice actor?
From what I recall, the Brazilian voice actor was killed.
Lucie's still alive though, but I'm not sure if you're referring to the change between the beta and retail.
And there was no story for OW1 anyways. OW1 was just a corpse from their dead unreleased MMO, Titan.
They have a human voicing a monkey. Not very politically correct of them to have a Brazilian voicing a Swiss bitch.
The reason they specifically weren't patched out was so there wouldn't be any major changes during the Overwatch League Official Season. Most changes (where possible) are delayed to not upset any of the professional/league matches currently in progress.I have no idea why people keep repeating the idea that "pro play balancing" killed OW. If OW was actually balanced around the pro play experience, then goats and double shield would've been patched out in a month max instead of being allow to dominate the pro meta for a year+ each.
Disregarding the fact that there were numerous attempts to patch out goats throughout the entire OWL season (that all failed because blizzard refused to touch AOE sustain or the get-out-of-jail-free cards that made the meta supports unpunishable by non-goats comps for mispositioning), 2/2/2 and Sigma were literally released a month away from the 2019 OWL finals. I'm not sure that having such massive changes that fundamentally shifts how the entire game is played a whole month before the single most important tournament in the league is keeping the league's interests in mind. It certainly isn't good for competitive integrity either. The reason they specifically weren't patched out was so there wouldn't be any major changes during the Overwatch League Official Season.
