Pet Peeves

People fidgeting and bouncing their feet. It's not even the sound that bugs me but seeing their fat calves vibrating in the corner of my eye.
My roommate does it all the time and it makes me want to break his neck.
 
People who claim to be insane. Seriously, you kids aren't "insane".

People who claim to have a rough and hard life, because their folks told them to get off the PC.

People who get mad at you when you do research on a game,character, etc.

People who can't take criticism, like I criticized someone for wording their article like a 4 year old, and he just lashed at me claiming that I just "didn't get the point" even though I did and just thought he could have presented it more civil.

People who blare their music at stoplights. Look, I get it, you want to enjoy your music, fine. But not everyone wants to endure your shitty taste in tunes. And it's never Elvis or The Beatles or classical or 80's music, but some overly bass-heavy hippity-hop cop-killah fuck-yo-ho crap. Add to this people who have shitty sound systems with so much distortion in the bass it vibrates their car's cheap quarter panels. Either learn how to install a sound system properly or have a professional do it or get yourself a better fucking car, or better yet, don't blare you crap until you are on the highway.

People who use the words "venomous" and "poisonous" interchangeably. Venomous refers to organisms that inject venom into other organisms (spiders, jellyfish, some snakes) while poisonous refers to organisms that deliver their toxin directly through touch or when eaten (having poison ivy touch your skin or eating mushrooms that are poisonous).

Some snake sperg got uppity on me for that once. But she was working at a renaissance fair, so she was wrong on a moral level.

The sight,, sound, and smell of people chewing gum is an immediate turnoff for me - that crap ain't good for your teeth's health at all like brushing and flossing your teeth is, to be brutally honest.

Also, I must reiterate, as someone who prefers to watch cartoons (and some anime on the side, as well as the latest movies) over live-action, unless it's on YouTube - people who take such and all shit like it too seriously and/or put it more high on a pedestal than it really should be. Makes me quite confused & annoyed (and sometimes, quite saddened that's there bigger shit to worry about - like being just a little about WW3 happening in our time, or the further legislation of our civil rights and freedoms away from us by uncaring oligarchs who don't understand what once made America strong, great, and worth taking seriously as a nation!) that people can't see no matter how good/bad it is, shit's only there to incapacitate you (especially if you're a kid - e.g.: the best audience for it), until it's time to do something more productive, serious, and/or important than obsessing over the most popular thing to a bunch of exceptional individuals who do need to grow the fuck up and stop their whining on the net. Fucking Losers.

I also also must reiterate, when it comes to politics, people who complain about who's in power, but don't take action to make things better on the state and local levels (like cheaper healthcare and education for the masses, to name one major example of things we should all be striving and fighting for, now more than ever!) - you know, my country (the US) would be in better shape if you started paying attention and taking political actions necessary (provided that's your thing, of course) by solving problems plaguing you on the state and local levels, instead of worrying about things you have ultimately no control over on the federal level. If only more people were smart enough to see that... A lot of states and municipalities (like Michigan and Wisconsin, for major examples.), wouldn't be such massive shitholes to lead lives in for middle and lower class folk, right now. Trouble is, no one has the balls to stand tall against the crap that ails them at these levels where it is the most damaging - and it makes me sad that my country is dying like it is, because of that. Like the cartoon-tards, all they do is whine on the net, instead of doing something about it.

Yes, everything I've written here is autistic and embarrassing to read, I'm sure.. NO, I DON'T CARE if I sound fucking crazy - that's just the way I am, day by day.

I travel pretty frequently and airports are the worst for that shit. What makes it worse are the fools who can't keep their luggage out of the way or hit me or my luggage with theirs because they are so distracted by whatever.

Here's one based on my Communication degree and broadcasting days.

When people say they caught something "on tape" or "on film" or generally that they "filmed" or "taped" something using a cell phone or other digital device. FFS, people, unless you have film stock or a video tape cassette in your goddamned phone, than NO, you didn't tape it or film it, you fucking recorded it. There's an actual fucking difference between those things, and saying you "filmed" or "taped" while using a digital device makes you sound like a moron. Worst Offender Award goes to all the click bait shit on Facebook for constantly saying some video thing was "filmed" when it wasn't actually on film. However, I've also caught otherwise legit news sites doing this, and I hate it. It's part of the Great Dumbing Down of our society that also includes calling a cartoon a "toon" or using too much LEET-speak.

People who bring god into pointless arguments. I see this allot with kids on Deviantart. When they are called out or in an argument, they use "god". Then they berate you if you have other beliefs or don't even believe. Telling you how you will burn in hell.

Funny thing? These people tend to be hypocritical and lash out death threats.

Eh... Places like DeviantArt and their ilk are full of people this intolerant and stupid. It's expected, honestly.
