Pokémon (Not-So) Griefing Thread - Scarlet and Violet Released with 10 Million Copies in First 3 Days in Buggy States

Do you remember when others heaped exceptional praise on Pokémon Let's Go Mobile, that Chinese bootleg of Pokémon? That was because of the 'high-quality animations'... including Blastoise's Hydro Pump actually going out of the cannons or Charizard's Flamethrower coming out of the mouth... something that was in contras to the official 3D mainline Pokémon games.
People soon brought up tha the animations were stolen and the bootle game used way, WAY less characters anyways. Then a new article mentioned tha the game used way more identifying information than what a mobile app would use.

Explain how Sarah sounds like Veronica in any way. Ash’s balls dropped the second the voice actors changed.
She's not close to Veronica's talent and range, but apparently in the auditions, Sarah was the closest to sounding like Veronica which was all TPCi was looking for (they didn't want it to be too jarring for the kids still watching). We don't know who else was at the auditions and if they were any better or not.

At any rate, she's easier to listen to than Kayzie Rogers (she voiced Ash in the first (and hopefully lost) dub of The Mastermind of Mirage Pokémon) and I hate that that mental scar will never leave me.

Ask Iwata turned into a PREMIUM PRODUCT BY A THIRD PARTY TO CONSOOM!?!?

EVEN NINTNEO who I love are not that shitty. You can get it all for free here: https://iwataasks.nintendo.com/

ANCIENT CHINESE SECRET: File > Save Page As... and you can save anything. I love you Iwata. I hate you profiteering. Please come back... @_@

Tha 'turn free online stuff into purchasable physical stuff' is not new. See the many people who buy physical releases of online games... especially free ones.

And there’s no excuse for those gliding Flying-types, even back when Sky Battles were a thing. Why do the other Charizards fly but Mega X does the stupid glide?
Same reason Gengar is just chilling in the Sky Battles, with no alternative battle stance because Levitate (RIP to that, btw. Never forget).

But what game was the Blastoise animation stolen from? If it's stolen from the Pokémon games themselves, then I'd see it more as putting those animations to actual use. Granted, Game Freak has reused animations from spinoff titles like PokéPark, but most of mainline has original animations.

Let's see which animations aren't from a Pokémon game... I know that Greninja's animations were from a Naruto game (not sure which one, though), and Hitmonchan's might come from Punch-Out on the Wii? That's pure speculation on my part, and who knows? Some animations could be original since I don't expect every animation to be stolen except for the more popular Pokémon.

But considering Game Freak can simply just reuse assets from the Stadium and Battle Revolution titles, yet don't... It's a pretty simple solution to the "high quality animations" issue to simply steal your own animations from previous spinoff titles or make a Stadium-type engine for 3D mainline titles.

Gengar isn't allowed in Sky Battles(But Haunter is). They went soley by their model's pose, so there were numerous instances of Levitate and Flying Pokemon not being allowed in them even if the rest of their evolutionary family was.

Gengar got fucked over when he lost Levitate as an ability, honestly.

Nice to see that even the card game is getting dumbed down.
Niggers will be niggers. No matter how much you self mutilate your own culture.

Why does ash look like a sleazy grandpa now but still LARP's as a 10 year old instead of being a mentor figure for someone else (preferably non-nigger and asian since it is a Japanese Franchise

Re-using assets has always been an industry standard to cut development time unless you are supporting an individual with a passion project who doesn't just make a demo and milk their patrons like enough to notice do.

Its also why the Halo shield effect and Tie fighter screech/laser fire are now used in other franchises and games as the modern "Wilhelm scream.")

Still sad that Gen 4 isnt even getting one of the big "5-10 year anniversary" treatments and the remakes look like rushed out shovelware.
Did they ever add the national dex to sword and shield? Last I heard it was "nope nuh-uh 2 herd fer animutions"-Gamefreak and now im seeing this shit spammed all over Youtube with GEN 3 pokemon in Sword and Shield that they said were not going to be in the game at all ever:

They never added a national dex to SwSh, they had the 2 DLCs that added some Pokemon each and have their own respective DLC Pokedex.
images (1).jpg

They also added pretty much every legendary Pokemon back, but they don't belong to any of the Pokedex's proper. There's 667 Pokemon total in SwSh, as the dexes have some overlapping pokemon they look bigger than they really are, meaning we're missing 231 Pokemon not including regional variants, alternate forms etc.

Ash is/has been a mentor figure though, especially for May.

Everything that isn't first generation is garbage. Team Rocket is the only team. Ash is the only Ketchum. Brock and Misty are the only sidekicks. Professor Oak is the only professor. Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny are the only waifus. And Dark Cave is the only Zubat habitat.

Cannot prove me wrong.

In terms of the anime? It should’ve changed characters after Gen 2. Dark Cave also wasn’t in Kanto, and Delia Ketchum has to exist.

Orange Islands needs more love, and the Johto seasons were the funniest Pokémon's ever been (as well as having one of my favorite Ash moments in admitting to Charizard he's not experienced enough to raise him, it's controversial but Ash made the right call imo), but they were so damn slow getting to each gym, and unfortunately at the Johto League, Ash relied more on his original teammates instead of his Johto team. Advanced Generation at least went out of its way to improve upon what it learned from Johto, but it still sadly underutilized Team Magma and Aqua, and the Groudon and Kyogre battle was overhyped and didn't live up to it. Max, although not a bad idea to have a sibling dynamic in the team, honestly bogged the whole series down despite their best efforts to try and give him a character. I don't even know if Bonnie is better or worse, still struggling to get through D&P, of which I think Brock coming back wasn't really a good move since even in Hoenn it felt like he overstayed his welcome. Battle Frontier I think wasn't a bad season, but the dub-change midway through hurt its reputation.

Indigo League is still a fun watch, but there's a reason the "pity badges" are always noted as a negative, because half of them were interrupted matches of which he was either winning, or he was losing, but he did something heroic to impress the gym leader to give him the badge anyway (and he would actually protest this). Sabrina's gym is an egregious one, too, though he didn't speak out about that one. This is why after the Orange Islands, you actually got to watch his gym matches from beginning to end and sometimes, he actually lost and had to have a rematch where he actually showed he could learn from his mistakes and come up with strategies to overcome them. So the battles have improved since the first season, and that's a good thing.

I will admit the redesigns for Joy and Jenny in later series ruined their waifu statuses, though. Honestly am not a fan of their looks past fourth gen. (Edit: Actually, X&Y Jenny looks good.)

After he beat Frieza the show went downhill fast.
