Seems there is new TNO drama involving their lead Russian dev. IDK if this is a nothing burger or real shit. I am not on their discord to partake or see the autism. Any faggot here know anything about this?

ISP played the Red Dusk mod and he seems to have had quite a bit of fun.
The fact the USSR has such a fleshed out tree that he was able to blindly go about it and still finish a game with only one crash seems like a good sign.

I just played Iraq in Red Dusk, and the game runs rather well and it has a rather good pace with the wars. Red Dusk is all in all very promising and I hope that they are able to push more updates smoothly, the bases they have good foundations for it

This mod is giving me hope for HOI4 modding again. I'm back to having a job again so I don't have time for vidya but seeing my friends in general, you lads and 4chan all seem happy about the mod while the TNO devs seethe has been fun to watch. Maybe the "nu-TNO-fication" is over and we'll finally see mods try to focus on pleasing the players rather than the egos of the devs? We can only hope.

I mean if those islands have Japanese people living under a Japanese flag especially during the cold war then then those islands are Japanese.
I am confused about the cold war autism and maybe I just can't get chink autism. If it was land they wanted the Chinks to possibly get from a focus tree or by taking it in a peace conference or war maybe. If they wanted the PRC in some start dates to have Japanese land that's retarded. This is not an alt history slop like TNO or Kaiserreich. This is based on reality and the Chinks never had those lands.

Since I have "happy" in my name I don't mind being the resident optimist. But yes The Fire Rises doing well would be another nail in the coffin of people chasing TNO's shadow and going back to what works.

TNO's Haiti is really rubbing me the wrong way. Since it appears constantly in the American content and especially with the Ulg American book as all events are named that. I should not have given TNOfags the benefit of the doubt either. Basically in Haiti in some leader bios and national spirits they call it a Mullatocracy. I assumed that this was a thing that existed KIRL as stranger things like Atlantaropa existed. Nope. It doesn't. I looked it up and it keeps bringing me back to TNO and as far as I can tell has nothing to do with IRL Haiti. Which probably does make sense since Haitians did kill a lot of their own Mullatos when they rebelled since they were seen as having the taint of whiteness in them.
I am more surprised no one has pointed this out since the nature of this mod and also just how hypocritical it makes the tranny devs. Cause in a strange way this is the one thing that did make me uncomfortable. For further context Haiti has a retarded communist revolt which you need to do via a mini-game to defeat. You can't use your army for some reason. On top of that its really intrusive since even if you ignore you get events about niggers chimping out. This is shown as them doing mean stuff to the American forces there. Of all things this made me actually take the themes its trying to teach seriously in anti-fascism and being against racial hatred. The only issue is you are meant to like them. The Marxist black nationalists are supposed to be portrayed as the wholesome guys overthrowing the corrupt Americans. Instead you get long winded rants about how this nigger nationalist leader hates the Mutts ruling his nation.
I am just going to cut to the chase here. If you turned his ideology from communist to fascist or national socialist and gave him a black nationalist sub-ideology he just comes off as ironically the same fascists and ethno-nationalists this mod is trying to preach against. This guy Jaques Stephen Alex is basically Haitian Mugabe, but since he is a socialist and pan-African he is treated as good. The one time I actually paused and thought about how the people in that nation. How their lives are going to be shit. How they will be targeted for their race and ethnincity. And they fucking try to portray it as wholesome. If he was white they would be using him as an example of how evil he is. At this point I feel its taking them restraint to not pull the modern historical revisionism of saying the Japs are not only not as bad as the Nazis, but are poor victims of European and American imperialism.

That Haiti talk makes me think that they legit could add a Nation of Islam path where they aprove 100% segregation and still would be treated by the devs as being less bad than any kraka whose politics are righter than Pol Pot

Somebody assorted all of the TNO dev 'promises' over the past year. To nobody's suprise, most of it is gutting old content, reworks. What surprises me is that they intend to cut alot of proxy wars, so in a sense they want to strip a Cold War scenario of anything to do or watch. Also confirms alot of the worries like Burgundy getting removed and the axe getting sharpened for the Russian content. For some reason most of the commenters seem to be in favor of these changes. Haven't touched HOI4 in a long while, so checking upon this mod's crumbling status is merely out of curiosity at this point.
