Ready or Not - The 2nd video game to let you flash bang a small child

View attachment 3399481View attachment 3399482from backend issue to something that has never gotten a steam game removed before, all in the span of 24 hours. Theres no way the devs removed the game because it was getting review bombed because people don't want to pay 120 dollars for updates that that they'll get in 6 months with no changes anyway.
Alright so yeah, void dun fucked up. The name of the club map is Pryzm, which is a actual club chain in the UK and people said the entrance to the club in game is a copy of a real life club entrance from the chain.

The devs have already started the process of renaming the club. Also side note, the supporter divide has been a thing since day one of the steam release, so if it got review bombed it wasn't because of that.

The supporter divide is fucking stupid. They need to make the beta branch opt in.

God forbid you say that however , if you do you are just a whiny bitch who hates poor ole' void!

Real talk i think the weird class system is uber retarded, i understand wanting to limit how many people play the test build but why make it a pay to play feature, either make it a private beta only certain people get access to or make it open to everyone, all the current system does is build resentment over time and recently void doesn't need to build it any faster.

I don't even like playing the betas because they're often buggy as shit anyway and the player population is barely there.

But how else can this small indie developer squeeze more money from people after an initial asking price of £30.99/$37.89. Can you imagine what would happen if you had multiple people testing your new levels you might receive some criticism that makes you reflect on what you prioritize when it comes to development of your game or worse mean words

Confirming what you said. Pryzm is an actual nightclub chain in Britain.

I thought that the fact someone bought early access inheriantly makes them supporters and all deserve some kind of good faith from the devs, not this bullshit.
The supporters are the only real part of the fanbase void actively engages with, they have a special invite only discord where they get more info than everyone else, void probably doesn't ignore them as much as the rest of the fanbase, and they get to test updates for a week before they get released nearly as buggy as before. I, like parts of the community, think the supporter beta shouldnt exist anymore, and it should be open to everyone, but void wont listen because if someone wants in they have to pay 80 bucks and get into voids private groomcord discord before gaining access (i think)

The supporter discord is as big a hug box as you've ever seen, just filled with Meal Team Six larpers that try to pass themselves off as actual law enforcement or military. It was actually funny before it got really, really sad.

Huh, sounds like some aholes I knew from the early 2000's on some forums. But, those were mostly airsoft dweebs who'd act like bad ass military PMC types.

Literally all they did was flip the Z holy shit void what did you expect
It's not the first time they've gotten dangerously close to real-world logos. The Glock, for instance, has a logo on it that looks VERY close to the real world Glock logo.

All they did was remove the flair on the 'G' that forms the 'L', and add a 'E' to spell "Gocke" Bear in mind that Glock is extremely protective of their brand, to the point that games in the past have had to retroactively remove the term "Glock" in update patches due to lawsuits.

I swear to god if ready or not gets canned because void keeps violating copyrights and trademarks.

I still wanna know how Escape From Tarkov manages to get away with having weapons, attachments, and equipment with their real world names and logos.

I think if that happens, you'll get some numbnut on youtube twisting it into some retarded "muh kultur war guyz" shit.

My best guess would be, since they are a Russian based gaming company, they give zero fucke fo American copyright laws.

The most logical answer is that they go out of the way to pay for the licenses, since the gun customization is one of the main selling points. There are plenty of other items in that game that are clearly based on real world products, but use generic, fictional brand names, even though its obvious what they are or are based on. Like the cars in GTA.

As far as I know, Battlestate Games licenses everything. I've been told some manufacturers only stipulation was basically "you can't DLC/microtransaction our intellectual property without giving us a cut." I remember there was some friction a couple years ago because they released something before the paperwork was done.

Being able to take down a child pornographer, lethally, in a video game is very based. Hope the keep up the interesting mission designs, maybe something to match the SWAT 4 cult mission.
