i'm trying to be optimistic but what if they try pulling up loli hentai as the basis for their claim? there's no way the jannies haven't ever slipped up and the law on it in the US is very vague from what i understand

for example, the Ryukishi07 thread has a couple images like this that show drawn children in suggestive poses with barely any clothes on
some retard who joined recently tried this already in a way (i assume his goal was to divide users with a moral question)

I don't think Epik is willing to lose thousands of dollars and more negative publicity for a couple of tweets.
If @Null files and they delete it, we've already won, if they release a statement distancing themselves, we've won.
If they keep dragging this for months, we've made a large corpo waste a lot more money than Null and his single lawyer with their entire legal department having to waste time on this, time that could be spent elsewhere bringing more money to the company.

Think of the Yemenis, they fire a 2000$ drone or a 200.000$ Iranian copy of a chink cruise missile at a container ship and the US has to spent 2 million dollars every time to shoot them down, sometimes firing a dozen missiles per attack, and even if they don't hit, they've shut down the largest shipping route in the world.
75k isn't a lot of money in the long term, Epik will need to spend a lot more than Null ever will on this one.
Even if it gets dismissed, the time wasted on defending a couple of retarded tweets will never come back, heck even if we lose in court, but the tranny responsible for their twitter gets canned it's still a pyrrhic victory for them.

I want to point out that someone also named Miao, who has the same fucking catboy design, also lives in Portugal, and has displayed the same art as the Epik Miao on Twitter, once attempted to start a VTuber company named UwU.tv with the goal of attempting to groom women into a harem,, key points including trying to woo them by ordering them extravagant amounts of UberEats and trying to get them to play games with him whilst he paid his 'company's' jannies, if I recall correctly; it has been a while since I've had to recall the specifics of this story.

Pipkin Pippa did an interview with him on July 15th 2022, where the girls from this company showed up in chat, shat on him, accused him of being a bad person, and Pippa herself made fun of him to his face. Beginning of the Virtual YouTuber thread discussion as it was happening.

I am putting this here as it could potentially be used as connective tissue by a better autist than myself to either prove or disprove that the Miao of UwU.tv, the defunct VTuber agency where he as owner attempted to groom a harem of women, is the same Miao - AKA Marcelo Goncalves - that is Director of Information Security at Epik whom is potentially enabling the deplatforming and slander of the Kiwi Farms, both being based out of Portugal with eerily similar catboy anime avatars.

The original response about KF has been up for almost a full day now. If there were adults who were going to rein in a rogue zoomer, they would have done so by now. The fact that the tweet is still up means there are no responsible adults who see a problem with the tweet, or they aren't monitoring their own spokesperson as he spreads defamation. Either way, like Null said, the damage is done and they're liable.

That's why I said "I wish there was". Obviously there isn't, but it's painfully obvious they need one. Oh well, too late for that.
