A single google could have saved Robert a stupid tweet. The only time AC had character creations was for a AD campaing, where you create your own character to show up in a ad. The rest of the games had already fixed characters designs and names, because in the main campaign of those games, the heroes aren't silent protagonits as you usually see in games with character creation.

But honestly, at this point, I can't see anyone genuinely getting pissed off by Assassins Fucking creed going "woke", since it has been doing that since forever. Of course, you gonna have the youtubers click baiters, they gotta hustle, but in general, the most you get from the angry "manbabies" is a eye roll, or a downvote on a video.

When Assassin's Creed: Origins (set in ancient Egypt) came out, people kept telling "We wuz kangz" jokes about it. This joke made various media outlets freak the fuck out about "racist backlash" and people got banned from various forums and servers, which just added fuel to the fire. Robert is essentially rewriting history so that it was the people making the kangz jokes who were angry because of brown people in their Assassin's Creed games, instead of those people making a joke and people on the other side being the ones who were angry and flipping out over it.

So obviously all these racist gamer Nazis who dared to tell un-PC jokes about Assassin's Creed are going to be super mad about character customization letting you make a character who's darker than ivory.

This kind of shit reminds me of when Nioh came out and people started to say "White saviour game bad. Must change now for all asian people." when it's a game that tells real events in a fantastic fashion and it's one of the most historical accurate action RPGs that i've seen. And the last one has character customization because it fits the time period of Japan when it opened up to westerners in the Sengoku period.

But hey, you don't expect people like Bob who make a mountain out of a non issue to actually be mildly versed in history and know that slaves didn't built the pyramids, that vikings despite their divorce laws and hygiene were a bunch of disgraceful bloodthirsty barbarians or that the church was the bastion of knowledge in the middle ages because they hand copied hundreds of books and they made them easier to read. For them, history and reality stem from whatever thing whoke videogame companies shove down their throats.

The Gifted program at my school was basically extra classes for those Martin Prince from the Simpsons types who couldn't get enough of schoolwork. Bob probably thinks it would have given him a fast track to greatness, but he would have done exactly what I did: drop out upon hitting high school when the program began to focus on higher level math. Unless you can do higher level math, you're not going anywhere in the "intellectual" fields. Your best bet would be to try to get a "professor" job like teaching English or Philosophy, and knowing how Bob talks down to everyone he feels is inferior, it's doubtful any school would have hired him.

Mine was 'Gifted and Talented', and, frankly I never understood why I was part of it. I consistently graded poorly, and I was the only loser in the group of six or seven students there. All of the others were and remained very popular all throughout elementary and high school (though, to their credit, a few of them were pretty good to me in addition to just killing it in their classes).

I bring this up because I'm under the impression that Bob, too, was this loser, but holds his placement in such a group as some sort of proof that he is indeed above 'ordinary people'.

I know when I was in grade school, Jr. High, and Highschool, you couldn't take any computer courses outside of typing/keyboarding practice unless you were in the gifted program.

Gifted classes in general are jokes, because unless you're a literal prodigy who could pass college in your early teens you're still expected to go through school and your final exams at the same rate as every other student. I did some gifted classes until I realized that it was just more of the same work the other students were doing and they weren't helping my grades get any better. I would love to know what Bob thinks makes him gifted, because there's no way he was actually getting good grades in science or mathematics. I bet he's one of those people who think that the only reason they didn't get good grades in school was because the school didn't understand them and help them more. At best, I reckon Bob was praised for remembering the names of the planets or remembering how to spell some long words.

It's super easy to say "I should have been in the gifted class" when there wasn't one to begin with. It's a purely hypothetical scenario. Things can go any way he wants them to in his imagination.

We know now in real life, he presumably has no college education, he's past his peak in his fake profession, he's constantly getting owned on Twitter and from his own words and actions, his intelligence is middling at best, but most likely sub-average.

Intelligence isn't secret hidden wizard magic. You can tell if someone's smart or not from the things they do. Ballooning up to 500lbs and getting diabetes and then doing virtually nothing to manage your diabetes are not the actions of a smart person.

Yeah. If he had just one proficient adult achievement, it would be believable to me. I wouldn't even set a high bar since not everything is viable as a career, a portfolio of pleasing sketches, or stock photography, videography, proficiency at a foreign language or musical instrument, anything at all.
