His hatred of "dudebros" invading his gaming culture is hilarious because I'm only 2 years younger than Bob so I remember the late 80's through the 90's when Nintendo was huge. Back then every kid was into video games, of course the dorkier ones were into it more....but even the popular and athletic kids were into Mario, Zelda, and Metroid. "Dudebros" didn't magically get into video games when FPS's got big.

Not to mention Wolfenstein, Doom, and their innumerable clones were first made popular by the kids who were so nerdy they actually built their own levels for those games.

Here's what gets me about people like Bob: during the Bush years, they considered dissent and mocking the establishment to be patriotic, and celebrated outlets like 4Chan and WikiLeaks for their audacity to continually take the piss out of authority figures. But once Obama came into office and SJW bullshit started to really take off, they turned on said outlets for holding their senpais to the same standards as the ones that they replaced.
