This looks like a symptom of a larger problem, progressive infantilization of the culture. Everyone dreams of being a superhero when they're in grade school. Everyone fantasizes about banging the hottest guy/girl in high school. But then people leave school, mature, and grow to understand that fantasies are just that.

I’m certainly liberal for the most part but I am also open to the idea that my positions on many things may evolve as I learn more since I would like not to be a dictator. I wish there was a way we could teach people again that for all you think you know you don’t know shit and to be open to considered discussion.
