I don't like to guess Bob's reactions because they're usually entirely predictable and, more importantly, if he's lurking the thread he might shift them or just not voice them to stymie us (like we care, Bob), but here I'll go out on a limb: if Bob stans for The Last of Us Part II it's going to be exponentially smugger and nastier than he was when it came to ME3. Remember that the brouhaha over the last Mass Effect was almost entirely apolitical; it was only an argument over the quality of the game and whether it had become a consumer issue. Bob went hard in the paint defending BioWare / EA just because he loves to suck corporate cock and because he hates gamers that much.

You know out of all the things revolving around the Last of Us 2, these two parts always bugged me in this specific order: 1. Was it ever confirmed on the trans part? Cause, from what I saw it was mostly assumptions thrown here and there, but nothing clear; 2. Making the villains a Christian type cult? Oh..Well aren't we original, oh hello Outlast 2, Far Cry 5, The Evil Within 2, Dying Light DLC. We've seen in-game footage by now, and Abby looks absolutely massive.
If she's not a troon then the implication is even sillier; that this post apocalyptic world is so abundant with steroids and exercise equipment that wamen can somehow attain Dwayne Johnson sized proportions.

And the Far Cry 5 situation is interesting because the Moviebobs of the world thought you'd be going around killing sexist racist Christians when the plot was much more subversive than that.

Instead of the enemies all being white Christian males, half of them are female and a big portion are non-white. They don't worship God or Jesus, instead their prophet is Joseph Seed, the main antagonist in the game. He supplants the religious beliefs of his followers, crosses are replaced with Seed's logo, and he organizes them against a pending global nuke-war. The thing is, he was 100% accurate, and the only explanation that makes sense is Joseph really WAS a prophet. This means your character is the real bad-guy, and you were just killing people who believed in a doomsday cult that happened to be right. Joseph even offers to forgive your "mistake" at the end of the game, and you can choose to accept it or not.

You can come up for a racist or PC reason for why that's the case, but the bottom line is the Chinese Government, whether through negligence or malice, failed to contain multiple different outbreaks that had a massive negative impact on the planet. Does Bob not understand (yes I know, he never understands) that people don't just revert to rapemurdering cannibals after like a month or two of disruption? He legitimately seems to think that rural communities are out there right now killing everyone around them because they have nothing better to do, when in reality rural areas are probably the least affected by all the lockdowns. There's less things to shut down and less of a need for social distancing since there's fewer people in general. Funny how having your nearest neighbor be hundreds of feet away from you, if not a mile or more, means you have plenty of room to avoid issues.

I do think that problems will arise the longer the shutdowns go on, but not to the extent of a post-apocalyptic hellscape. Bobby should thank his lucky stars that that won't happen, he wouldn't last a day in an actual emergency scenario.
