Careercow Scott Raymond Adams / @ScottAdamsSays / “Real Coffee With Scott Adams” - The Washed Up Cartoonist Behind “Dilbert”, Creator of “The Dilberito”, Professional Bullying Victim, Political Grifter, Terminally Online Narcissistic Boomer, Divorced Twice, Is (Not) Glad His Stepson Overdosed. This is Not a Racial Politics Debate Thread

Scott went on to elaborate his ideas further in today's episode.
...
3. Remarks had a negative impact on the person's reputation - Allegedly very easy to demonstrate as he'll just run a twitter poll to prove it. (No idea how well twitter polls hold up in court)
...
5. Defendant is at fault and demonstrate malice - He sent him a message on Instagram asking him to make a statement saying "this comic does not accurately portray Scott's views," and if he doesn't that will be enough to prove malice. (Say sike right fucking now or I will see you in court. This strikes me more as legal intimidation than anything else)

His mental gymnastics were not the best part of the stream though. The best part was him admitting he is absolutely willing to go to court and lose, pay a quarter of a million dollars in settlement money, if it means he can prove in the court of law that he was misrepresented. Taking a page from Sargon in doing whatever it takes to trigger the libs, own the libs. I wish I was kidding here is an exact quote at 51:05.
"Here's the real play, the play is this I want to create way more attention to the lawsuit then the original comic got. And if losing the court case also surfaces the fact that it was not accurate statement about me, that'd be fine....I don't care what happens after that. If that costs me a quarter of million dollars, money well spent."
Bold move to post a nearly hour long video where you admit you want to file a frivolous defamation suit and don't care about the costs to yourself.

Former Canuck lawyer and current Youtuber, Viva Frei, commented on Scott Adams current legal musings.

To sum up his view point, he thinks Adams must be kidding because there's nothing defamatory about the cartoon. It should again be noted that Viva is a Canuck and is friendly with Adams, so he is looking at it in the best light possible. And he still thinks he has no case.
I def didn't expect a run-in by Viva Frei

Scott tries to deny that he is “threatening” to sue Garrison

Scott also responded to someone criticizing him for playing both sides, with an infographic that basically says “if you think I’m smart you’re a real person, and if you disagree you’re an NPC”

The Scott Adam’s Cycle:

1. Scott says something ridiculous
2. Scott calls anyone who doesn’t agree an idiot or an NPC
3. When criticism keeps mounting, disavow the ridiculous statement
4. Disavow the disavowal using weasel words
5. Keep disavowing and reversing it until people get bored of him
6. Claim victory, even if what he said turned out to be 100% wrong

Jesus, what a fucking child. Hey Scott, let me make an appropriate counterattack: anyone who agrees with you is a silly poopyhead with a head full of poop.

Stalemate.

Christ, this man is insufferable. A fucking malcontent and tool.

And yes, he's an exemplar of the so-called narcissist's prayer (yes, it's trite to repeat at this point...and yet, apropos):

That didn't happen.
And if it did, it wasn't that bad.
And if it was, that's not a big deal.
And if it is, that's not my fault.
And if it was, I didn't mean it.
And if I did, you deserved it.

Get a life, Scott. No wonder he got dumped so hard.

Claiming some dumb cartoon mocking his inability to admit he changed his mind/position diminished his earnings by 30%. No, if there's been any diminishment in earnings, it was completely self-inflicted, due to being a loud harping crank with nothing of value or originality coming out of his mouth.

"Flip-flopper" seems like a fair criticism if you're loudly proclaiming one opinion publicly and then turn on a dime to the complete opposite one while having no real transition period or explanation. There's also something to this about whether or not you're selling people on if you "updated your opinion as new data comes in" and convince them that your new opinion is solid. There's a whole bunch of fucks out there who would say or tweet something like how all abortion is murder, even in the case of rape blah blah blah, then they became NeverTrump and now they're diehard pro-choice. That's fine (in terms of that people are allowed to change their opinion), people make that transition both ways all the time, but it's weird if it seems like they did it for unrelated reasons and their explanation is some kind of vague "I saw the light and I was in error before" especially if they're putting a lot of focus into insulting people who held the view they themselves once championed. It's the same shit you hear from people who are like "oh yeah, I was liberal when I was young then I GREW UP" or "I read Atlas Shrugged and had a libertarian period in college, now after being in the real world I realize we need a Maoist police state" in which you're trying to shame me into changing my opinion by talking about how stupid and easily uncritically accepting of entire frameworks you once were? I'm supposed to trust you now even though you say you had bad judgement before? If this happens frequently then it becomes a pattern and that's new data you might want to update your opinion with.

If one cartoon can impact him that much, it suggests he’s not exactly the brilliant cultural and intellectual titan he pretends to be. People have been slagging Dilbert off for years.

He really is a clueless boomer. I remember watching a stream of his many years ago where he decided to show people something on his phone or computer. His personal email address was clearly visible.

Fast forward a few minutes: He's talking about something else when suddenly he starts getting dozens of email notifications on his phone. He had no idea what was happening.

It's not surprising he would not understand the internet rules about lolsuits and looking retarded.

I come with good news and bad news. Bad news is that we're probably not gonna get that lawsuit. Good news is pretending to be retarded is actually part of Scott's plan.

TL;DW version: I don't care about Ben Garrison, but acting like I care gets people's attention. I plan on using the troll's attention to boost me up until they force me into the mainstream where I can make actual moves.
Just as you'd expect from the 8th dimensional underwater pogo chess master.

Scott got into a Twitter fight with a fan, and promised to “mock” them on his stream
Here is the clip of him responding to the troll in episode 1980.

TL;DW version: I'm not better than that, I am what I do. I'm not going to change my behavior for other people's respect. I'm upset I can't use the F word (fuck, not the other fun one). All said in a very slow and low energy way.

Remember it's all going according to plan.

Does this dude still believe in affirmations? The one early Dilbert book stops to have Scott explain how these are totally legit and work so you should do them.

Ah yes, because as we all know, people with massive troll audiences always achieve mainstream success! You’ve tricked me again Adams! If only I could be a true and honest hypnotist like you!

He's calling his detractors "Clottberts"?! Probably not a word you want to keep using and be associated with, Scott.

In other news..
