I knew it. I knew they would pull that shit despite being a really short extra story.Born from a wish was cut.
I wonder if they will try to sell Maria's scenario separately.
RE4R and DRDR did the same thing, so we should expect more of this in the futureTechnically already a thing with the pizzabox pyramid head & dog masks. Only available for people that preordered/buy the deluxe edition for now.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves here, that game tried to be "cinematic" and placed yellow paint everywhere. It was an interesting new take on RE2 but not really a definitive experience.RE2 remake was better. We had classic outfits free and a model viewer, then the survivor modes.
That's true. It tends to slip my mind because I thought it was dogshit in the original and I only did it once.Born from a wish was cut. They're pulling an RE4 demake where they cut a bonus campaign that's been in the game for 20 years because it wasn't in the game when it launched.
Niggercattle consoomers will lap up content getting cut and resold as DLC. Same thing happened with Separate Ways.
I didn't call it a definitive experience though now did I you fucking lunatic jackass. I just point out its a lot more fun to replay than SH2, has better combat, the zombie gore is top notch even if a bit spongy, I liked it. It was good, coming off the heels of RE7 it was pretty great. It would have been better if they kept the B side differences and all enemies. Just because you hate it doesn't change my enjoyment of it compared to RE3, re8, re4 when it came out.Let's not get ahead of ourselves here, that game tried to be "cinematic" and placed yellow paint everywhere. I know there's a lot of well deserved suspicion surrounding this remake, I think it's pretty bloody good, aurally especially, some of the best work is there.
The voice acting is surprising in its quality...one thing i appreciate is the more or less totally changed puzzles...thats what re4 remake should've done, that was lazier than this imo.
It's not woke at all and i cant really see what was modernaudienceified about it, my advice would be to wait for a mild sale then get it.
You sound mad about something, literally the only big change is Angelas appearance that could be described as bad (woke), but the new voice is probably what informed that change.
I don't know people, what did you want, just literally the same game again?
I'm the first person to hate disrepecting the source material, but I don't think thats the case here, I think some people painted themselves into a corner with their attitude regarding this game, and rather than admit you may have been slightly wrong you're doubling down like bunch of bluehairs.
I'm going to say something else you can laugh your arse off at, I think the combat is way more fun in this than the original, always close to death on hard, nice tense gameplay.
Not a big fan of the Leonification of James however, his hair looks out of place, it's hardly massive problem though, again it was probably an attempt to marry the VO to the face.
For "people" who claim to hate woke shit, you types sure do go out of your way to find a lot of it. I would not have even heard of Concord if it wasn't for you retards giving that shit free advertising and letting it live rent free in your heads.
It kind of works with Angela, because it's not uncommon for molested women to intentionally make themselves unattractive, to dissuade potential predators. This is not the biggest problem, the biggest problems are: that this exists, that it doesn't include "Born from a wish" and that you don't get the original with your purchase.I just don't understand why every woman looks like they have overdosed on cheeseburgers and they have the fat moon face.
Yea i does work with her.It kind of works with Angela
Eddie I know is normal-looking chubby guy. One in the remake looks like something from The Thing mid-transformation, they made him comically ugly for some reason.Maria on the other hand, has the same bloated cheeks. Eddie face looks less fat.
So what you're saying is, the SIGNALIS fandom will be all over it?Just making the combat functional would be an improvement. Everything else will piss off both sides as you state because the game was basically The Lord of the Flies featuring child abuse, rape and lesbians
now I have even more reasons to like this guy. (Ha, no pun intended)Guy Cihi is a crazy anti vax conspiracy theorist now unfortunately but still.
It’s not as woke as I thought it would be, but the women are still butt fucking ugly. It's not woke at all and i cant really see what was modernaudienceified about it, my advice would be to wait for a mild sale then get it.
Playing it I understand why.I was never a SH2 fan (I prefered SH1) but it's one of those games where every frame is considered a masterpiece. My go to example is how there was a lengthy section in one essay about Mary's clothes suggesting innocence and purity, only for it to later be revealed to be a Con Air reference. The point of that is, for a game who's fanbase that says sound, graphic, asset, and item was deliberately and perfectly placed, that baka gaijin is too stupid to understand it, seeing them cheer when baka gaigin takes a sledge hammer to their most sacred game is baffling.
Harry was already done dirty in Shattered Memories sir.Harry
Oh shid I meant James. FUCK.Harry was already done dirty in Shattered Memories sir.
The original was catching lightning in a bottle (that corridor scene is probably one of the best in history of gaming, with how it organically checks if you actually care by making the corridor shorter than the monologue you listen to). It's just le horror without the hidden meaning or any actual psychological shit brought into account - or even the shadow tricks to make people look horrifying, which is fine for people that actually know the meaning I guess?
Sounds pretty based to me. I stand with Cihi.Guy Cihi is a crazy anti vax conspiracy theorist now unfortunately but still
Picking SH2 to remake was a fool's errand. The game is a very specific product of its time, hardware, and circumstances. The performances alone were so heavily influenced by the choices of VA for the original game, this remake feels significantly worse.but I am still sad because it doesn't feel like I am playing a Silent Hill game. It feels like a different game,
Not to "um actually" you butIt emulates really well on PCSX2 these days, there's pretty much no reason not to try it at this point.
Oh you don't know the half of it.The evil thats taking place in the castle is specifically described as jewish kabbalah mysticism. Right down to the alchemical crafting system being done with a Sefirot diagram and the basement having actual Golem that are controlled by marking them with hebrew letters.
The monsters are:
A degenerate retard (Literally called "retard" in latin) who thinks the main character is a straw doll and wants to roughly play with her until he dismembers her.
A bitter fake woman who envies the heroine's ownership of a functioning womb, and wants to carve it out of her with a jagged shard of mirror glass.
The heroine's uncle who wants to impregnate her, and is willing to blast out both her kneecaps with a revolver to expedite this process.
The family's ancient kike patriarch who wants to harvest the living life force (Azoth) from her ovaries.
The entire story is built on top of what the ADL would describe as "Hateful Blood Libel Myths", or what even modern Kabbalah observers would describe as "Based".
