Steven Universe - Now a Griefing Thread

I dig the last one.

Anyway I just watched the episode and it's making me want to see more of the whole "gems have purposes" thing and specifically what the backstory of our Pearl is that she ended up like this. (And just why she was blushing so much during the scene where Steven was like "Hundreds of Pearls..." but that one might just be me being dense as always)
My best guess is that she was assigned to rose but rose treated her like an equal and a friend and that's the main reason she liked her so much and was so attached. She also had the line where she said "Rose made me feel like I was everything" as opposed to feeling unimportant and useless from being a servant. Rose probably told her about being more independent.

EDIT: Someone made a picture of this

The new episode was shown early at NYCC and people recorded it
It's missing 30 seconds or so at the climax though.

I'm thinking of getting the Mr Universe one and both Steven and Young Greg's star shirts.
I actually already have a Mr Universe one but it wasn't official. It looks pretty much the same though. It was on sale on a website.

I need a star shirt that's purple, for reasons, but I want the Mr Universe one too.

Acknowledgement that Amethyst is a quartz, the same category as Rose. Peridot insisting Amethyst outranks her teammates despite Garnet and her components being higher on the gem hardness chart makes me think Gem hierarchy does follow the chart after all. You've got Pearl at the bottom, then Lapis, Peridot and Jasper, the Quartzes, Ruby and Sapphire and Diamond at the top. I dunno how fusions work though as they're all over the place in relation to their components.

Jasper's a Quartz too, but yeah, I think that's where they're going with this.
