I must stress that I don't think it is 5+ year old accounts, but almost exactly 5 year old accounts. The cultural shift and influx of users around 2020 chased away more valuable effort posters and cherished oldfags than any other point in kiwifarms history.
I know what you're saying, but most of the prominent oldfags still around that the average KF user encounters day-to-day are genuinely some of the most disruptive users on the site imo. They go around needling people and shitting up threads, and then when they get told off they go crying to mods about new users harshing the vibe. That's the perception anyway.

Profile privacy was deliberately broken more than 10 years ago, and I have deliberately broken it every time it unbroke. Today, I restored it. You can now control who can see or post on your profile.
Is this accomplished via the Ignore function or is there a new feature in account settings that I'm too retarded to find?

The ability of this forum to operate on multiple layers of irony is so much a part of its charm. To survive and pay for the existence of a website in the 21st century, we are literally going to use 19th century payment processors. The fucking telegram. What's funny is the evil bastards trying to blackball the website never considered the fact that these ancient methods of moving money around still exist. It never even occurred to me either, despite the fact that I have a rather big interest in financial history. The idea that you can tether an automatic payment to a website to order the production of a physical check, that checks physical delivery to an end user, and then an order for another electrical signal to change the banking ledger is an amazing example of archeaotech. Probably something that only exists because banks are still legally required to do business this way because Congress never got around to amending or repealing centuries old laws.

Amazing.
Null copying Andrew Torba. SAD!!!!

Can I purchase said checks via Roblox, Steam and Visa gift cards? Asking for 2.1 Billion friends.
2 million South Americans trying to get personal armies via paid features to dox each other so they can do gang hits...
20 million Indians trying the same so they can dox random Americans and target them with scams....

Unironically users that signed up 5 years ago are more troublesome than people who signed up this year lol he's entirely right. It's bizarre.
Anyways I look forward to the continued prosperity of the farms. Viva la kiwi bird.
oldfags are aging millenials who are dealing with a changing world where they're finding out that The Office (US) was never a good show and making a snarky remark to your parents at Thanksgiving and smirking to an imagined camera off in the distance is actually not a reasonable way to discuss politics. they're having a rough go with it. bless their hearts

Zoomers will behead them

I think user features would be good but people need a way to disable them or maybe have a cool down for features from a single thread so that some DSP board user isn't featuring everytime that Phil begs for money.

delusional. one word baitposts, twitter screencap threads, and porn were not prevalent in 2011 /v/. That board had 20 different jannies, so they personally approved the absolute state of it.
This is correct, 4chan has changed, arguably for the worse. Its flexibility comes with the downside that it is highly susceptible to newfag waves, the faggotry across the site has consistently increased and the lulz have become rare events. But OP remains the primordial fag and this rule will remain true even after this place dies. The farm also achieved some great milestones in popularizing lolcows and other subculture slangs. The point I'm making in the post you quoted are the challenges the farm is facing to secure its longevity while keeping cancerous growth in check.
