Older users should not be treated better than new users, your join date doesn't make you a better poster and shouldn't make you immune to the forum rules.
Brother, you ain't wrong. Been here 10 years and I still can't post worth a damn.
Null has always been very soft on accounts older than his. HHH has been an obvious troll and very unpopular but gets away with it because of the join date. Lurking the forums you can see old posters know they can get away with trolling or derailing threads because they've been around so long and keep doing it. When Null says 5 years or older I think he's telling the truth and a lot of reports are the old protected accounts he's still protecting. If one of the legacy users joins a thread of the opposing ideology, starts upsetting the thread knowing they will get replies and the mods do nothing to step in you can expect the thread to get a lot of reports.
But yeah I understand your point. No one should go into a thread to intentionally disrupt it if they don't like or agree with the topic. It really is such a crying shame that even places like this must be tarnished by partisan politics.
On the other hand, I think people should learn to take things in stride. The @Hollywood Hulk Hogan isn't a monster, he's just a guy who found it easy to get a rise out of people who are too sensitive, and I get that. If people weren't so quick to derail entire threads because one person showed up who disagrees with them, then such an example would never pose a problem from any perspective.
Ultimately it's not up to me or anyone else how @Null pilots the site and what behaviors he finds acceptable, and I know he's in a hard place where he can't explicitly make a list of "niggers who are bickering and misbehaving" to let everyone know what the problem is because doing so would probably on attract more retards to the drama. It's a sticky situation and I'll admit I sometimes wish I knew what exactly he thinks needs to change so I can either help facilitate the continuation of the farms or be able to see if he's just worrying over nothing. I can't really say.
I know what you're saying, but most of the prominent oldfags still around that the average KF user encounters day-to-day are genuinely some of the most disruptive users on the site imo. They go around needling people and shitting up threads, and then when they get told off they go crying to mods about new users harshing the vibe. That's the perception anyway.
Ditto what I said above I'm just too dumb to figure out how to move your quote up next to @T-2EW/H

Frankly, sometimes I fear I'm the part of what is considered the problem, and it's one of those things where I'd like to know if I am, because I don't want to be part of the problem. What I want is to make people laugh and tell lame fun facts and revel in the nonsense of the internet. It can be hard to tell if I'm contributing positively to a healthy forum environment. Autistic, I know.

The best solution is and always has been to ignore troublesome users and bait-posters, whether using the actual "Ignore" feature or self-control. It is what I've always tried and usually succeeded at doing. Unfortunately, in the context of the Internet people are too retarded to do that and this has been a known quantity since the very first online communities. That means either some other workaround is needed, or we just accept that a certain amount of shit-flinging and derailing is an inevitable price of relatively relaxed moderation.

I'm still not convinced re-implementing private profiles is the remedy for this problem but I also know less about the site than the administrator so whatever, maybe it works.

inb4 banks mailing checks to businesses is stopped by girl talks :lossmanjack:
They’d have to call every bank used by a Kiwi. Null is just depositing checks on his end.
If Liz Dong Gone tries to stop you this time by trying to outlaw currency, will you accept cows and chickens as donations for the farms?
Silver bullion?

$40/mo is a bit steep IMO. I think it would be worthwhile to introduce a cheaper tier at a later date.

Everyone was worried about 4chan users.
No sense shitting up a site that has been welcoming. Most from 4chan will probably agree it was breath of fresh air having a place that doesn't auto 3 day ban us for calling someone a retarded nigger when they're acting like a retarded nigger.
"but anon, i-it's a blueboard!"
Don't give a fuck jannytranny, he's on the origami board acting like George Floyd, he needs to be told what he is.

Agree. I want to support Null, but at a different level.
If every regular poster sent in $5.00 a month, that would help too.
It may be that $40 is the minimum expected to make his system work? (If that makes sense)
I'm thankful KF exists, but that doesn't pay his bills either.

Can a one-time payment be set up with this new bill pay for the T&H fan label?

Your bank should allow a one-time Billpay, just designate it as such. Null said the payments are pro rata and anyone who pays at least once also gets T&H, so you should be able to do a single payment for it. For T&H specifically:

Yes. A single month permanently unlocks regular T&H and I'll still accept $20 for it.

I don't know whether you need to designate that differently on your check, or whether the API automatically detects and deals with the single lower amount, @Null would have to confirm the mechanics.

How resistant is the check system to troons trying to mess with it/the bank?
It would literally be a federal felony crime for them to fuck with financial infrastructure. Unlike 3rd party processes the ACH system is federally regulated. Even LFJ and all his girl talks isn't going to bring down a national financial system.

A concern I could see raised is that professional activists could start pressuring banks to arbitrarily close accounts that write out checks to a site like the Kiwi Farms. Are there safeguards in place to make sure that doesn't happen?
ACH transactions aren't publicly disclosed. Even with all of the Patriot Act bullshit, short of Null being declared a domestic terrorist, and all of the paypigs being individually under investigation for supporting said terrorism, nothing will happen.

They could simply repeal the lawful need to serve checks at all, prompting banks to drop it. Various countries in Europe have already done it, though I imagine the US would have more friction (unless DOGE or some other government "efficiency" cocksucker does it)
No way that will happen in the near future. Too many old people and low-income renters rely on checks for it to be phased out.

What actually happens is, some wokey true-believer moral crusader in a position of some influence within the opaque structure of a big-dick payment processor like MasterCard or Zelle contacts the bank and says, drop this client or we drop you. And the bank isn't left with much of a choice.
Banks are legally required to cash valid checks. Even in the worst of cases, Null could be debanked and deplatformed, if he still receives checks in the mail, he can cash them in person for cold hard cash. For a (((fee))) of course, but it is a (albeit terrible) option of last resort.

This will be excellent for the off topic boards to finally get features to try running site traffic to it.

Just to confirm I can pay for 2 years of subscription at once with 960 dollars? right do you get a discount for bulk up payment?

I love the idea of the forum having a (generally) reliable income stream. I just wish my family wasn't on such a fixed-income budget. I don't know what line items could be trimmed to fit $40/mo in. (Plus, there's the problem of having to explain  that new monthly expense.) I may have to keep going the postal order route when I'm able. (Sigh)

Maybe someone could send me one of Milo's "Stop Being Poor" t-shirts.

Question (forgive me if this has already been A&A'd): What's "postmarking"?

So how will Null know if a 40bux donor is a monthly donor? Why wouldn't they donate $40 once to get their shitpost featured?
