The World Travel Thread

Also I love subway systems; they aren't found where I live. They save a lot of headache in the urban areas even though occasionally you get the weird homeless person who smells like dog shit on the cars. I like the BART system in the California Bay Area and Charlie in the Boston Area.

Have you guys been to Tenerife in Canary Islands? Me and and my mates is planning to go there to spend the holidays. I've been reading some article about this island here in https://www.canaryislandsinfo.co.uk/tenerife/ but i was wondering if there are some good local bars where we can enjoy a nice cold beer. Anyone of you guys been here? Any advice you can give?

I love traveling, and there's many places throughout the world I want to see and quite a bit I've been to. I want to see the rest of Europe, more places in the US, Latin America, Africa, certain other nations in the Middle East like Iran, Australia and more of the Far East + South Asia.

So far I've been to the US, England, Scotland, Italy, the Vatican, Germany, Austria, Oman, Egypt, the UAE, Turkey and South Korea.
Qatar might count but I've only been there for transferring to other flights.

I've travelled a lot in South America (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Ecuador, almost Colombia--we were supposed to cross the border from Ecuador to Colombia but for some reason we didn't/we didn't have time, even though I really wanted to), I've been to Mexico too (though I'm dying to go to Mexico City, because I've only had a layover in the airport there and if the food in the airport was delicious then I can't even imagine how good the food in the actual city is). The only European country I've been to is Italy (and Vatican City if you count that). I thought about applying for the Foreign Service so I could have the opportunity to travel to/live in really off the beaten path places (like random countries in Africa) and get paid a lot while I do it.

You want to go to remote locations with a kiwi farms user. That will not end well for you.

Edit: oh you said you just want to discuss it.

Well stop making OPs sounding like a robot lol

If you want to come to Ireland, then I can recommend Galway in July. We have an arts festival and it's not as rainy as the rest of the year. Avoid it in the first week of August like the plague.

I still have a lot of U.S states to visit and some countries I want to visit that aren't shitholes.

Last major trip I took was to the Grand Canyon's South rim last October. The view was gorgeous, there were tons of huge ravens hanging out all over the place, and there was a forest fire. Shit was rad and I'd love to go back sometime.

Was that inside or outside a resort area?

Pretty much outside. I went to two different cities and stayed with relatives that lived 15 minutes or so from the downtown area which had those sorts of places.
