So what are you guys dream companies' if they sell the IP's off bit by bit? I just want to see who would pick up the Tom Clancy stuff, and I would laugh like crazy if it turns out to be a Chinese company.
Are you not looking forward to Tom Crancy' Sprinter Cerr?

Rayman is being held hostage by Ubisoft. I also had a lot of friends who loved For Honor and would love more of it.

I do want The Division to have another game, through it would be funny as hell if Tencent gets it and just make the The Division 3 set in present day Chicago. They don't even change anything, its just in Chicago.

Or to really make it current put it in burned out LA.

I want Rayman to finally be free. I have hated Ubisoft for longer than some of the people here have been alive, and the final nail in the coffin was what they did to Rayman 4 and later, Michel Ancel. The fans are actively finishing Rayman 4 as we speak, thanks to the leaks from 2 years ago, but I want my boy to finally be as far away from his jailors and abusers as possible.
As for what other things I am hoping for in a post-Ubisoft world, I want hobo-Sam Conviction to be released with modern features and technology, as well as that Rainbow Six Patriots game that ended up becoming Rainbow Six Siege once they scrapped the single player component. While we're talking about things that will never happen, it would be nice to bring back Ancel and reboot Beyond Good & Evil 2 one more time and have him finally finish the project withing 2-3 years starting out from scratch.

I think all the DEI stuff has distracted from the possibility the game might be a broken mess. I don't believe for one second the initial delay was to address 'consumer feedback': I think the game was in an unshippable state in November, Outlaws had just shat the bed, and they needed an excuse to kick the can down the road.
We know it was a broken mess from the trailer they put out right before the delay. People were reacting to the way the swords were clipping through shit and graphical glitches that simply wouldn't be allowed in previous ubislop trailers.

I'm just confused by this most recent delay because it's not realistically enough time to do anything except maybe squash last minute bugs. And the launch window isn't even 14 days which is the time they usually look at for sales after a release. It just screams of putting bandages on a gaping wound.
Maybe that's all it is.

Of all places Ubisoft could set their bastardized "historical" games in, they probably thought the usually polite japanese would be very welcoming to the "artistic rendition" of their society. They sure as shit wouldn't try that with China.

I'm so glad they misread the Japanese as similar to the white American liberals who hate themselves.

To add insult to Ubisoft's injury

"Showa American Story" is an upcoming game that combines American and Japanese culture (and some minor Chinese culture) and the setting is an alternative history where the US got colonized by Japan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8O6gNEoLZw

It has been met with universal praise by the Nips (Japanese), Chinks (Chinese) and the Gooks (Koreans), not to mention the Crackas (Whites).

Remember though, these guys had teams of experts researching for historical accuracy. But cant be bothered to check a fucking date for any cultural significance or what the tori gate they're using is a historic monument to.

Whoever the "experts" are, if I remember correctly, none of the experts were Japanese, except a female race-traitor activist professor called Sachi Schmidt-Hori and if her name is any indication, probably got her tight Nipponese pussy fucked by a German/Nazi. She mainly writes on topics like faggotry and gender and one of her essays is "Tales of Idolized Boys: Male-Male Love in Medieval Japanese Buddhist Narratives"

The other expert is of course Thomas Lockley, a (((huwhite))) man (eg Polish Jew) living in Japan who specializes in fan fiction and history revisionism. His groundbreaking novel is about a nigger "samurai" (eg. lowly servant/clown/pageboy) and his source that We Wuz Samuraiz is like a few sentences/passages from Japanese historical documents. This book is probably ground zero/a major inspiration of Assassin's Creed Shadows. His other source is the Yasuke wikipedia article which he personally edits himself and uses his novel as a source.

According to some sources, Thomas speaks out of both sides of his mouth or his writings present 2 different narratives depending on whether the target audience is Japanese or English speakers. In other words, when presenting to the West the narrative is "Blacks Wuz Samuraiz" and my facts > your facts.
But when presenting to the Japanese, this "fact" is avoided or watered down and the discussion is actually more nuanced (maybe he was a samurai, maybe he wasn't, we don't have much evidence, etc).

Conclusion: Thomas Lockley is a clout chasing Jew who wants to make his mark on the world by falsely proclaiming that Yasuke was a Samurai.

Thomas Lockley is currently MIA having been driven off the Internet by the initial early controversies.

Aside from the controversy, who is this even for?

Legacy Assassin's Creed fans, White people and their nigger pets.

If you want your spargaggle wee-wee fill in the ancient Japanese setting, there is Ghosts of Tsushima who ate AssCreed's lunch a long time ago and I bet you that people who really wanted an AC game in Japan just played this years ago. If you want to play as an assassin in the same setting, there is Tenchu

There's also Sekiro Shadows Die Twice by the ever reliable From Software.

My point is, who is the intended audience at this point? Maybe their die-hard fans who mindlessly buy anything with a Ubisoft label will move sales, but will it be enough?

Ubisoft niggercattle, Assassin's Creed niggercattle, White niggercattle, and nigger niggercattle.

Definitely don't expect support from Asians, Japanese or otherwise.

Is there even wild niggercattle grazing on the fields of Ubislop anymore? From what I’ve seen even the most diehard AC fans have been screaming at Ubisoft to get their shit together since mirage or even Valhalla.

I think Nintendo could do Rayman well
Only if they hire Michel Ancel and put him in charge of the studio.

This or schizo theory: he wants to subvert Japan through its history to make the country more open to foreigners.

There aren't any.
Any company with enough money to actually get it is going to be just as awful.
In a magical world your best hope would be something like Larian or Grinding Gears getting IPs people actually care about. But they're not exactly suited to most IPs ubisoft has.

I'm sure AC: Japan was something fans were looking forward to, but I don't see too many of them willing to look past all the red flags just to finally get the game of their dreams.
it's even worse, they outright shat on anyone asking for ac japan. can't remember the exact quote but it was along the lines of "too obvious to do" or something, to the point people gave up on even asking.
only due to their absolute extreme DEI cocksucking which rotted the whole company and then needing an easy win they decide to finally do japan, but of course shit it up, somehow thinking the people who asked for it over a decade are fine with fucking with japanese history, let alone now that japanese media is more popular than ever.

all the decisions leading up to it and everything about the company will end up in history books on "shit not to do", probably not the legacy they were looking for.

probably, otoh china/korea will get the engines for cheap. no idea how expensive some korean/chinese devs are, but tencent/nexon/netease or whoever else picks it up might have use for it. I unironically wouldn't mind a division 3 made by chinks, massive is too retarded to handle 2, and it can't be worse than ubisofts usual shit.

Reminder that Ubisoft showed a whole load of AC games in a presentation a while back. One of them was a game set in colonial America which seems to focus on witch hunting. If they are shoving niggers so haphazardly into a game about Japan, think how much feminism must be in that one...assuming it will ever be released now.

You've seen this openly already when tech cunts like Elon Musk go mask off and talk about """fixing""" Japan's birth rate "problem" by importing replacement rate shitskins there just like was done to the west... the sheer audacity of them. And we know now due to this debacle that an actual Communist Party member in Japan was a part of the crew aiding this (((Lockley))) faggot's revisionism - AND they worked for a Japanese media company (Goodsmile I think, not sure). Just like in the west, they get in through the media/music industry after first establishing control over your Banking system. And Japan has, without doubt, been in the clutches of America's owners since 1945 for obvious reasons. They had Yamaguchi to bail them out in the 1960s with a katana... and the commies have been trying to secure a foothold back ever since.
