I'm really enjoying it. Tenna is a hilarious character. Although chapter 3 is heavy on the minigames.

Might have something to do with the S-Rank Dressing Room. IK got A-rank on the first board. I see there's an npc that sells S-Rank for 1500 pts. On the 2nd boss now, so hoping I notice something before the end.

It's a popular single-player game. RIP the poor Nig who is being smothered by retarded short-sighted retarded gay trannies. That gay meta-contextual tranny shit would shitter shatter your suspension of disbelief there and then when you figure why you can't Nig it up.

On board 2, if you raft around, Tenna panics when you find this area

Couldn't do anything or get past the yellow bush.
I get S-Rank on board 2 and go into S-Rank dressing room. The music for the room is using Spamton's music as part of it and the npc inside starts talking about freedom. If you continue on, you get thrown back on board 2 with new mechanics.

You have to get in the S-Rank dressing room after board 1 and board 2. Got to the board 2 door at the end of the level and it said that I forgot something and the npc said I needed to get the dressing room after board 1 as well. So the cloak Seam mentioned is probably in the dressing room minigame after board 1 and the boss after board 2. So, get to replay the whole chapter!

ETA: To be fair, I disliked Mettaton in Undertale, too. Not really into campy gameshow stuff.

Chara and Asriel did that on accident. The people probably attacked them or may have had history with Chara in some way that could motivate the attack.

Didn’t Chara die from the pie and Asriel gave him control of his own body, and then they went into the village and people attacked because they were now an incredibly powerful monster?

That happened sometime after. Chara intentionally poisons himself with the flowers so Asriel can take his soul. When they reach the surface Chara tries to kill people to get the other 6 but Asriel can't do it and they both get killed as a result.

which is a core userbase of Deltarune.

I'd say yeah. Play through UT once, treat every encounter as a puzzle to solve where you need to figure out how to make the monster leave instead of killing it, and (optional but triggers unique dialog/interactions) hold onto any unique healing item that's very clearly associated with a specific character or theme until you're in a fight with that character or the theme. Do all of this and you'll avoid the need for repeated playthorughs to see everything. It's about a 3 or 4 hour commitment, I did it all in one shot and it was a fun experience although one I'm not probably ever going to revisit.

Otherwise just check everything and enjoy the dumb humor and music. The music is imo THE selling point for the series, and if the humor's going to grate on you you'll know in the first 10 minutes.
