Yeah the portrait alone makes him seem like a crazy bastard. First impression though I was like eh, this guy is alright. Even with the Eldar you're able to talk him out of murdering them pretty reasonably (again, this game lets you be extremely nice to the Eldar). I'm sure the game will eventually have a "damn dude, that's too much" moment, but he still has it together better than Incendia who I immediately put down on Footfall.
I preferred turning idara into a sniper instead of the actual sniper. You can still go bounty hunter with her, alongside the zesty buffs her psyker things give.
To put it in perspective, BS/WS increases aim chance to cap (95%) and then any increases after increases crit chance, so it pulls double duty for your dps. Then stack the crit dmg buffs from soldier and then it starts making sense why she could one-shot a fucking rogue trader and her arch militant
Yeah but idira is annoying so instant out. I love how broken the combat can be because I can actually keep party members I like vs being pressured to use annoying ones.

Just wish her base weapon had an entire quest about it so you can fully restore it to it's full one shotting glory. Maybe have an ability to make fire mastery without getting to 175 momentum and then scaling it to full endgame shit.

He is the only gay male companion. I suspect he was added solely because of the "muh queer romance" crowd, and since Owlcat is a Russian studio, nobody said YOU would be the one on top in the relationship, faggot. I mean that was pretty much it. But with how broken versatility is (anyone else notice how you get TWO stacks on burst fire?) she can self buff her BS pretty fast. So I need 3 15 more str to use that fancy new heavy bolter (str is 75, -25 for talent).
In a way I'm glad this game is incredibly broken in the players' favor. You get to go on the ultimate power trip.
