*cough cough* the fucking Expendables moviesI don't know, maybe I just miss the days where stories about old heroes, meant them coming out of retirement to show they may be old but they aren't obsolete. Unlike today.

The original total drama was a satirical take on the reality tv craze. I might be reading to deep into it but it might have been a deliberate decision to show how all the contestants in all these shows where chosen to fill in a trope to make the viewers interested.I never understood why Total Drama has the same contestants appear in multiple seasons, instead of having a new set of contestants with each season. It's probably to cut costs, in terms of needing to design new characters, and hire VAs to do them, and some VAs already voice multiple characters in the TD series, i.e. Scott McCord (I think that's how it is spelled) voicing Owen and Trent.
The idea of a show parodying reality television wasn't new at the time Total Drama happened, but it's the final product that made the show great. This is also how I feel about Drawn Together. The original total drama was a satirical take on the reality tv craze. The real question is who has time and patience to sit and watch a 4 hour youtube video essay. So a Youtuber by the name of "In Praise of Shadows" recently made a 4-hour long analysis video on Courage the Cowardly Dog which had multiple stupid takes in it.
And unsurprisingly, he's getting flack for it.

Literally noone. There are people who needed to pause the video to do something else with their lives, or hell, watch something else. The real question is who has time and patience to sit and watch a 4 hour youtube video essay.
The original cast filled every main teenage stereotype possible. When they did a new cast in Revenge, you can tell how stretched thin they were for new interesting figures that were also relatable. By Pahkitew Island, they lost all ability to make an exciting cast that still felt grounded in reality like season 1-3 had.I never understood why Total Drama has the same contestants appear in multiple seasons, instead of having a new set of contestants with each season. Let's be honest, Cody remained a dead-weight. Sierra was carrying him (sometimes literally) through the entire season. The second he had to stand on his own, he instantly got eliminated.Cody and Noah went from literal dead-weight to favorites through their continued play in season 3.
they can be kino, if done right. This guy does some great ones on historical events. The real question is who has time and patience to sit and watch a 4 hour youtube video essay.
On praise of shadows is one of those channels you think at first is ok...but then you get to their more...modern videos where they have to filter litterally everything through a current year lenseLiterally noone. There are people who needed to pause the video to do something else with their lives, or hell, watch something else.

again with the fucking preschool shit. I legitimately am baffled that people were legitimately on the edge of their seats on whether or not a second season of a PBS KIDS show was happening.this PBS Kids show called "Elinor Wonders Why"
From what I've seen, /co/ loves both that show and Bluey. Pretty comfy shows but fanbases are extremely autistic.again with the fucking preschool shit. it's been over a decade since I've seen it but I remember it as a serviceable and inoffensive pseudo-edutainment kids' thing. I was always rooting for the incel basement dweller villain, even his pet rat makes fun of him the poor bastard.Had anyone watched Flying Rhino Junior High? Is it any good?
I randomly bumped into its page on Tvtropes and recalled seeing pictures off it in an English textbook.
That thing where he transforms the school every episode seemed fun, reminded me of O'Grady (we had it on tv), which I liked.it's been over a decade since I've seen it but I remember it as a serviceable and inoffensive pseudo-edutainment kids' thing.
