Containment What If?

Most likely scenarios in order:

1) He gets offended at suggestions of American war crimes in Korea (which are well documented by both sides as happening) and get himself into some deep shit when he tries to defend his dad's service,
2) Has a fit of tard rage when he figures out there are no fast food places,
3) Believes 100% of the propaganda and comes back a DPRK supporter,
4) Posts a Facebook status saying that America has a lot to learn from the DRPK,
5) Tries to escape a minder and gets shot in the back of the head like that Japanese woman who went to a beach one morning,
6) Tard rages over insignificant bullshit so much that he gets isolated in his room and watched by guards,
7) Has withdrawal from lack of vidja and electronic devices,
8) Feels totally at home otherwise due to bedbug infestation and being watched over 24/7 like a child.

*takes a bow*

As an aside, I'm absolutely fascinated by North Korea and other totalitarian states, mostly the pre-1985 USSR and pre-1989 Eastern Bloc. Imagine if he was born to a member of the North Korean elite, his whole family would have died in camps by now! They don't exactly have the best psychiatric help available in that country, even for the higher-ups.

At this point from his police record I doubt he could legally purchase a firearm anymore.

I don't know. I thought as long as you don't commit a felony or are involuntarily committed to a mental hospital, you can purchase a firearm. He has a misdemeanor as long as he behaves himself, so unless I'm missing something he could buy a gun.

Fortunately, you don't need a gun to go hunting. You could always use a bow (or even a pellet gun), which to the best of my knowledge have few restrictions.

Im thinking elmer fudd with less dignity and more accidental self inflicted wounds

What if Chris was your family member?

A semi serious what if. We know Chris is enstrangled from what seems to be everyone thats not Barb. I don't think this is really his fault though. Cole has a grudge against his mother and doesn't really care about Chris. Bobs side of the family doesn't speak to them for unknown reasons. Would you shut him out of your life completely, or pity him as an idiot that doesn't know any better and try to get along since he is part of your family?

Re: What if Chris was your family member?

I started a thread like this a long time ago.

Edit: it was back in February on the last page of the forum and only had 6 replies. I don't blame you for not seeing it.

Re: What if Chris was your family member?

My uncle is basically a nastier, less obvious example of chris and is basically a full blown psychopath who puts on a very good facade of normality, despite the fact he is nearly 60 dand still lives with his parents while sponging off them

ignore and burn bridges is my advice

Re: What if Chris was your family member?

If I was like a cousin or other distant relative, I would pity him if I knew his situation and the like. But I would go on with my life. No need to help family that just keeps destroying itself.

Re: What if Chris was your family member?

That exceptional family member would become the black sheep of the family.

Let's imagine what it would be like if the females were Chris-like, but didn't grow any :pickle: . I imagine that, at first, the male Chris's would shun the female ones for being "windows to Hell" and unattractive in every single way. Eventually, all the male Chris's would either commit suicide or give in and have sex with the female ones and procreate. That still wouldn't solve the problem of nothing getting done at all. Even if the Chris's would realize the direness of their situation, everything would be done so half-assed that it wouldn't matter anyway.

Re: What if Chris was your family member?

I'd probably help him, try to get him and Barb into consuling, try to help with the hoard. If he and Barb refuse, which they most likely would, I'd be forced to cut off ties. If they wanna spiral down, fine, but they wouldn't take me down with them.

I guess you are right. In my state you have to have a felony or be involuntarily committed to a mental hospital to be banned from purchasing a firearm. Chris going hunting would lead to him probably injuring himself or someone else.

What if some epic ween kids, trying to deal a death blow to CWC, set fire to the Game Place at night and painted a large Grafitty of Sonichu next to it with the words "Down with Michael Snyder! Long live CWCville!" below, in order to get Chris into deep trouble, probably prison?

Would Chris be sentenced for arson? Or would he be released due to lack of proof, and/or because the jury believes his version that "da trolls" did it?

Or would Chris slip into a hallucinatory state in which he starts to believe that he himself did indeed set the fire?

If that really happened he'd be dumb enough to write a Facebook post about it.
Something along the lines "I wanted this to happen for years and I'm glad it did, but I didn't do it."

This would be a very interesting trial to watch, if it actually happened like that.

Any wuss lawyer would be able to dig up and present plenty of evidence to support Chris' argument that (ween) trolls actively do interfere in his life in a malicious manner. But assuming the trolls responsible left no tracks either at the scene or on the internet, could the defendant's side argue successfully enough to convince the jury that this individual with a long and recorded history of criminal malice against Snyder was not responsible?

I think this one could possibly end up with an innocent defendant convicted.

Going off what impossibility said I have to wonder how much Bell had to hear about the trolls ruining Chris's life. Any lawyer probably would try to convince Chris to take a deal.
