World of Warcraft

I got into a guild with several prior rank 14's and multiple private server raiding experience. Were rolling Alliance in Stalagg and we need a few fury warriors to round out our raiding group. Shoot me a pm or whatever its called here if you're interested in joining.

Hey quick heads up guys; All of the original servers are full and players on them can expect massive queue times so you may want to consider rolling on one of the newer servers.

I can't wait for the dumpster fire to come, people complaining that the game is broken and boring, streamers ruining their experience, griefers on a pvp server, and then the servers get depopulated leaving the hardcores fighing over people with gear to join their guild.

What are all the Classic players going to do a couple of months from now, when they realize that vanilla didn't just hand you everything and they actually have to work for shit? I can't imagine WoW's current player base is going to enjoy that for very long.

The current game is strongly oriented towards solo play. Because Classic doesn't have world quests, flying, raid finder or dungeon finder, the hope is that you will get forced into spending more time interacting with other people and thus have stronger in-game connections with your guild/realm than you do in modern WoW. In essence, they're expecting a return to a more social game rather than one where other players might as well be bots for how little you interact with them.

I'm gonna be rolling a Ret Pally, after missing all beta tests. I'm just plain ready to do this damn thing. It will be my first experience with Vanilla. Time to see what all the damn fuss is about.

Retardins didn't often see an upswing in usability in pre-TBC patches, I think near the end of Vanilla is when they actually had decent damage output.

I'm more excited to see the streamer servers crash and burn than I am to actually play the game.

There's apparently talk of allowing vanity legacy items getting linked to your account. So vanity shit from vanilla will pop-in to both your vanilla account and your current account if you own it on either.

It's a harmless suggested change and going forward if they make new servers associated with different expansion eras it's going to be a bitch to try and micromanage everything. I'm fine with vanity shit because it's fun.

Another thing is what to do about brewfest if TBC and WOTLK servers happen? The Original brewfest was way different than the current one allowing you to earn tokens by doing world quests to buy shit instead of summoning to BRD to fight a boss. I loved the shit out of OG brewfest and I really didn't care for the changes.

I still wound up with the two ram mounts and the brewfest kodo though.

It didn't help that they were boring af to play especially in classic where most of their damage were from autoattacks.

Doubt will happen. Most likely thing that will happen is that if you loot an item or mount you learn it to use it in retail. At least there will be a motive to go to original Naxx to get T3.

I am a bit excited for this. Rolling a warrior to play with a friend going priest, and a warlock for solo play. I will be using the updated graphics this time, i want to see the good old Azeroth with a new coat of paint.
