The two best long-term efforts I know of focus on transing kids and don't include horror stories/pix, though they do include autobiographical destransitioner accounts that touch on bad medical results:

Fonging causes a lot of link death in the off-site resources they list.

To present the grusome - and powerful - evidence KF collects would require a hosting service willing to withstand similar fonging. In fact, malpracticing doctors and drug companies might prove to be the most relentless, best-financed fongers of all. But maybe Null would be up for hosting a non-Channish information site anyway. Another counterargument to inherent link between supporting homosexuality and genderfuckery I can think of is, ironically, what trannies are screaming all the time themselves: gender variety in other cultures. Just point at random "third gender" and it's actually some codeword for a gay person, often male, that is considered subhuman by peers and forced to live as a semi-outcasted member of some weird social role they have been assigned.

This angle always got me. Lets just be generous and assume that these were robust cultures where people of differing forms of gender expression were respected as equal members of the community, as per their claim. No modern transperson would ever survive or tolerate those cultures if they were put into them. Those alternate gender roles would still come with sociatal expectations, like being a man or a woman would, and invariably modern Transpeople have some kind of liberal-anarchic streak where they think people should be allowed to do whatever they want and have no obligations to wider society. I mean, they feel no obligation to their own biology or its limitations. Society be damned.

Oh, absolutely. What actual progress means is letting go of extremely rigid roles, allowing people to choose how exactly they will contribute to either society as a whole, or at least people around them.
