Oh my god I used to be roommates with this chick who was into yuri. Expedition 33 is a phenomenal game and almost all of the shipping art is between two dudes who never interact a single time. If fujos look at a work of fiction and don't feel compelled to write assfucking based on it then you know it's not good.

I'd say it sometimes has to do whether there are some missing scenes, loose threads to connect and plot holes to fill and think about, or the work is perfected, polished and closed, so practically not fandomable. Or if it's more character-driven or premise-driven. Or sometimes the fujoshi bubble did not discover it yet.

One of the most mind boggling things in erotica/porn, as a woman, is how some of the most vile, misogynistic, rapey, horrific material depicting women is not written by men, but by women, for women.
