fan content was never meant to and never should be seen by celebrities but,
This reminded me- the director of Squid Game showed yaoi edits from Tiktok to these two actors:

but that vampire/pirate/criminal/werewolf-rich-chiseled-man who is written flatter than cardboard and yet somehow knows the protagonist (who he still falls head over heels for) better than she knows herself

I feel this described like 90% of current Young-adult fiction. I mean real books, with amazon deals and publishers and all.

Women will call men gross and degenerate with a straight face while gooning to written porn of homosexuals getting pregnant and giving birth through the urethra.
I don't even need to read this to know that a man wrote that story. They like to call their accounts Anonymous. It's written quite badly, in the sense that you can tell he's describing a hentai doujin he can see in his head. Writing out onomatopoeia instead of describing the noises someone is making. Starting the chapter with an autistic description of a kingdom he made up. You could at least point to someone who is confirmed female, like our good friend ex-KF moderator Meowthkip.

Fujoshis are cucks.
They are in love with these male characters, and hate other women so much they would rather see the men fuck each other than dare to go near those disgusting harlots.
Yumejoshis are at least honest about their psychosis and will unapologetically ship themselves with the character and be happy in their delusions in a lot of cases (baring those that actually don't realize it's all a delusion and have meltdowns if they see something about their waifu they don't like, but at least they're funny to laugh at.)
Fujoshis on the other hand will shit paragraphs of text over why the character with an established female love interest is actually a closeted fag that takes loads up the ass, and that everything is an allegory for homosexuality and hold fandoms hostage by insisting their fetish is actually activism and you're a homophobe for not complying.

Also yes, a lot of them become pooners. I had seen many cosplayers claim that dressing as their favorite softboy was their egg breakening and they then try to live life as yaoi teenage soft uwu boys despite being middle aged obese women.

People rightfully point out how deranged the old generation of fujoshits are but have you seen the shit that zoomers get up to on tiktok? I occasionally get booktok videos recommended to me because I'm a nerd who reads 40k novels and for some reason ig reels thinks I'll like that shit. And it's like every single video related to that community is some zoomette/middle aged woman talking about some dumb novel where the plot is some shit like a 10 ft tall warewolf drug king pin pirate tentacle rape monster giga rapes some 3ft tall stay at home unhappy wife whos also still in middle school and then he giga turbo rapes her twink husband. And the fact that they don't describe this as porn but focus more on the non porn side of things is what really gets me. It's unironically the "I watch hentai for the plot" meme from 10 years ago but it's a menapause aged woman talking about it lol.

I don't know. I guess when women goon to rape porn it's like they are "reclaiming it" or whatever. Like when niggers will refer to eachother as "niggas" in order to "reclaim" the word nigger and will get mad if a non nigger calls a nigger a nigga. I guess it's kinda like that then? "It's fine when we do it but bad when others do it"?

To make an example here, lets do a simple case study
Here, we will start with one of the most popular tags on AO3: Enemies to Lovers
Screenshot_20250721_142642_DuckDuckGo.webp
163,000 stories total
Now lets filter by category and see what our pairings look like
Screenshot_20250721_142647_DuckDuckGo.webp
Yaoi comes in at an astounding 94,000, or 57%.
Applying the same process to the "angst" tag gives a result of 49%
When considering the entire site, which has roughly 15,000,000 works total, M/M or Yaoi is still a massive 42% of all total works.
Hopefully this analysis can put to bed the claim that Fujos statistically insignificant in the wider goon/cooming/pornography discussion.

It's shocking how there doesn't seem to be a "core" or somewhat regular smut, it seems like any woman who's reading it is into the most extreme stuff imaginable. Off topic but are any of the 40k books worth reading, I've only ever read the Horus Heresy.
Just the tags are enough to feel mentally molested.
I can't even begin to imagine what tags like "dead dove?" "formicohilia" and "rape of a different kind" could possibly mean.

I hate fujos so much it's unreal. I hate how they try to force their sick fetishes on others. No, mrpeg is not a funny meme—stop posting it, you fucking cretins!

That sounds awesome! Peak male fantasy!
Meanwhile—these women cannot think beyond gay nazi porn.

I really wish I could unread that sentence!
Not seeing how that one's gay, but I'm not looking that shit up. That's a totally different category of degenerate girl on the internet. The self-insert hetero writers are just as bad or worse though, to be sure. There's a whole community of chicks that write serial killer fic. Like Ted Bundy/You is a tag that is way too populated on Ao3.

It's called Breaking the Fourth Wall. There are fans who do it themselves. Here are some older examples:
Fandom_Wank had some amazing sagas back in the day. The hobbit-shippers seem quaint at this point.
I remember some Smallville slash fan bragged about going to a charity event the guy who played Lex Luthor was appearing at. She brought a Superman-themed box full of fucking sex toys and shit and gave it to him in front of everyone, didn't get how disgusting it was. Dude never did another event for years after that, and I can't blame him. Genuinely surprised no one from SPN ever shot up a convention hall, it'd be self-defense considering the threats their wives would get.

Gaunts ghosts and ciaphus cain are always nice to go through. They don't read like 40k novels but are still fun. Night lords trilogy too. I would reccomend Fire caste if you want more guard or the tau. Brutal Kunning and The Infinite and the Devine are also fun. Sister of battle omnibus was pretty good too. Everyone but me seems to like the Lords of Mars trilogy and hails it as some great admech book.
I can't even begin to imagine what tags like "dead dove?" "formicohilia" and "rape of a different kind" could possibly mean.
I never really spent any time on AO3 like sites and never read fanfiction at all so discovering all of these new horrific terms in this thread is quite the treat. Like discovering a new language and having to decypher it.

As tempting as it is to say "woman moment" I can't in good faith just ignore the yandere trend that is somewhat massive to this fucking day.

if you think girls jerkin it to drawings of pretty boys being portrayed with female emotions is the same level of dehumanizing as men gooning to real human women getting raped on film then i have news about how you see women
"It's different when I do it."

"You don't understand - the stuff I masturbate to is ART."

See below
Dead Dove Do not Eat = "This story is going to be genuinely really really gross/awful."
To give an example, in the world of online smut the rape tag usually means "oh no, the strong rich handsome vampire man is just going to ravish our poor mousy protagonist without even asking for consent first." If such a story has the tag "dead dove do not eat" that means the author most likely is going to give graphic detail about how vile the rapist is and how traumatic the event, and how disgusting and scared the female protagonist feels afterwards. I am unwilling to go into more detail about that as its deeply disturbing and upsetting to think about, let alone read, but I think you get the picture. Gay male on heterosexual male rape with this tag is common as well (and written by women too).

One of the most mind boggling things in erotica/porn, as a woman, is how some of the most vile, misogynistic, rapey, horrific material depicting women is not written by men, but by women, for women. I get the whole "join them if you can't beat them", or facing their fears by taming the guy, but come on. It's cowardly and unimaginative and doesn't get called out nearly enough.
From what I see in Japan is not quite the case. When extreme, the H material written for a male audience is almost always worse than even the edgier josei/TL crap.

I'm inclined to agree, I just can't tell if this was a teenage boy or a 20-something, and if he was trolling this whole time. I'm 90% certain he was a troll who just can't write to save his life, hence why it comes off like he's ripping straight from hentai manga/doujins.

These two comments do concern me, though (purposefully not full comments, doesn't even matter tbh).

If this was a coomer story on reddit i'd be with you but men in AO3 are more likely to just be Tifs.
