It would probably be much too heavy an operation to undergo.
For all the teet yeet minimising chat, it’s a very tough recovery, the body itself might not survive that much whole body trauma and risk of infection, and if it did, the recovery would be awful, movement is vastly reduced with both, so you’d be pretty much paralysed for ages, and that comes with its own set of problems.
