Yeah, the sharia thing is the dream of the more extremist muslims, but most of Indonesia is actually quite moderate. Sure there's a Sharia Court in one of the province, but that's actually an exception than a rule due to the treaty to end an insurgency. Again, most Indonesian are quite moderate and/or secular in mind and behaviours

As for the gays though...yeah, most people don't accept them. That's why people who do are gays tend to either keep it a secret or play it safe. These girls don't do that because they love to bask in the attention and controversy, general e-thots thing

I tried watching Meno a couple times after that Pippa shared server Minecraft stream. I think its just supposed to be a little sister thing were you are rooting for her to succeed at her current task. She plays a lot of puzzle games so there is ample opportunity to see her figure stuff out.
