Redditors started spam calling the court house when they opened again, apparently the grand jury will be meeting about Chris on August 8th

As fucked as Chris is, the thing that kills me is that they deemed him fit to stand trial. This ensures he will land in jail/prison when he absolutely needs to be in a forever home for the tarded.

As a loggy as it sounds, is it bad I'm kinda rooting for prison?

He's gotten away with so much over the years. Running over people, pepper spraying, and he's learned nothing.

I think Chris will still plead guilty. Going to grand jury even if he's still saying innocent during the grand jury trial is just a check to see if the prosecution has any case whatsoever.

Chris doesn't see the grand jury, the grand jury sees the case and the prosecutor, and decides if it should go to court for a felony charge based on evidence that it can also ask for

I imagine he will maintain innocence till after the grand jury and then plead out if it makes it through.

It will make it through because in an overwhelmingly large proportion it does result into indictment

This case is a nightmare for the prosecution, I imagine their plea deals will be fairly generous just to make it over.

Plea deals don't go sweeter and sweeter, usually it's the other way around where the more the defendant refuses the less interesting it gets for him. Maybe the grand jury thing is a way to turn the charge into a felony (or felonies or more other charges) as a threat but I don't know if Chris will end up taking the deal, given that despite his admissions he's still claiming innocence. He'll just claim more innocence if more charges are brought up

Barbara is likely uncooperative and dumb as a brick which makes the likelyhood of putting her on stand pretty rough. If she has any lawyer representation at all they will be telling her going on stand could only potentially incriminate her.

Genuinely wondering if she has a lawyer, there has been no charge whatsoever against barb as far as we know so if there is something she's a victim or a witness

Chris' lawyer is likely telling him the same thing and I doubt he will go on stand either.

On the assumption that both if these retards are following their lawyers advice, the prosecutions evidence sounds something like this. "Yes so, an autistic woman online who also refused to be here and was in the process of a month long endeavor to defame this retard on purpose by tricking him into saying something weird got him to say he fucked his mom, the prosecution rests."

We don't know that, we don't know if the letters were screened, we don't know if a rape kit came back positive, we don't know whether they found pictures, physical evidence, whether Barb is really silent or not, and I doubt that sending the case to a grand jury happens when the only "evidence" is a sliced up phone call recorded against the defendant's will

If the move to go in front of a grand jury is because Chris rejected a plea deal, then this is one fucking chode of a disaster Chris has created for themselves. The dimensional merge won't convince a bunch of Virginian knuckledraggers (or anyone else) not to put Chris away.

Most of it was in begging videos where Barb could very well have been putting on an act for sympathy money.

Try to explain that to a jury that doesn't know anything about Chris or Barb. The jury wouldn't know that Barb is an awful person. Those videos would be enough to clinch it, and not just because of Barb. Chris acts incredibly creepy, hovering over her while she sleeps, telling her what to do and say, grabbing her with the silly goose line...

Imagine Chris's lawyer saying "She's faking it for money." No one would believe him. It's the same with dementia. We may all have an idea of how Barb is, but when you use that as a defense for incest, it immediately points at the opposite. No matter what the truth of the matter is, this whole thing looks to outsiders like a helpless confused old lady being taken advantage of sexually by her perverted retarded son. Accurate or not, every bit of evidence points to that. No jury is ever going to even consider that Barb might have wanted it.

If they did a rape kit (which I'm almost certain they would) it's possible that they obtained some DNA evidence. They have enough evidence to hold a trial so I'm hoping this is the case. I'm wondering if barb understands any of this
