No medication is without risk, but shit that messes with your hormones, like Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is especially dangerous when used without the supervision of a doctor. Let me phrase it this way, messing with testosterone indirectly through steroid use can lead to blood clots, which can be fatal. Use of direct hormones are even worse. There is a reason you cannot purchase HRT, or even hormone based birth control pills over the counter and it is not some "phobia" these are medications that can fuck with your body irreversibly if abused.

Edit: Just to show how serious this is, hormonal birth control pills given to women have the following risks (Not a comprehensive list):

• Increase risk of blood clotting
• Slight increase in risk of some types of cancer, most notably liver cancer
• Increased risk of heart attack
• Blood pressure above normal range
• Depression
• Insomnia
• Mood Swing
• Melasma (dark patches on the face)
• Weight gain
• Slight increase in risk of stroke
• Increased risk of gallbladder disease

These are risks that somebody needs to discuss with a doctor, not a weirdo online. Keep in mind those are risks for women taking the most commonly prescribed medication as instructed by their doctors in doses formulated to their weight/age. I imagine the risks are higher for those taking home made medication in guestimated doses.
