He's still under court monitoring. Even if they put him in some kind of actual individual housing he'd still need a tard wrangler. It's more likely he's somewhere he's under intensive tard wrangling though, and that would be either a mental institution (unlikely), or some kind of group home/halfway house.

I don't think they're even allowed to just dump him into a homeless shelter under a new law @Pointless Sperg cited, which requires mentally ill inmates only be discharged after an appropriate discharge including housing and mental health services.

They couldn't just dump him directly into homelessness.
