Chris's incest charge is dismissed

Chris chan did nothing wrong
according to the courts, you are technically correct.
this video will forever be in my heart since it is what introduced me to Duster; those guys are great.
Imagine being Barbara Chandler, lying on your bed knowing there is going to be a knock on the door sonner or later and you have no strength to do anything about it
>implying she is even lucid enough to realize this. im not convinced that she has any idea what is going on around her.
I gotta know if he met any niggos in the showers during the jail arc.
did you really have to bring in mutt's law? we were doing so find discussing mtoher raping before you came along with your niggos in prison.
Regarding this ruling, I'm sure Megan counts herself pretty lucky right now.
actually, if chris gets the lesson here that he can do what he wants and get off, im not sure megan is so lucky. i hope she still guns and keeps them close.

I think you mean he was guilty of consentual incest with a caregiver who had groomed a slow-in-the-mind into a completely inappropriate relationship for years.

Not only should he be set free, he should be suing the state for false imprisonment.

She's been living by herself for a while now, if she's got enough strength to manage that she's got enough strength to pick up a phone and call the authorities. She won't though, because she's completely ok with the situation.
That's the most concise and down to the point summary of what happened, but KF is always absolutely histrionic regarding everything related to law enforcement and legal consequences of bovine actions. It's like most people here think that when you do something bad a star appears in the top right corner of your field of vision, and cop cars start spawning around you and cops start shooting at you

How's Giggly Goonclown by the way, is he in jail already? How about Ella Pedowood? What about that guy who the CSI: Kiwi Farms caught with a smoking gun of liking a loli picture while residing in Japan? Was he jailed for life already?

Yeah. Well also, the lack of categorization makes a bit of sense in that the main purpose behind something being a "sex crime" is that you can have "sex crime registries", and that's mostly so you can know about dangerous individuals in your area.

Two degenerates engaged in consensual incest, which legally this was, aren't a risk to the general community.

We know there was a decent chance Barb was out of her mind and that this was properly a rape, but she wouldn't testify and the state couldn't prove anything beyond incest. So this unfortunately makes sense.
Incest is a crime in Massachusetts

This is disappointing. Chris clearly has issues integrating into society without a wrangler, and either needs locked up or with a designated caretaker. Releasing him entirely with no help means he is likely to re-offend. Catch and release at its finest.

I consider it my sacred duty to ask that question whenever a American is involved with the US prison industrial complex

Th
It's actually insane that somebody that is obviously guilty of incest, rape and elderly abuse and mistreatment is allowed to walk free.
What the fuck is wrong with people
Who is this judge
Who is the prosecutor
This is not "he stole from store he hungry he good boi dindu nuffin going to university next year" stuff. These are horrendous, very serious crimes.
There is no real evidence though. Of course WE trust anything chris brags about. But not everyone does and it is literally the only "evidence" against him. The prosecution would need to prove that chris tends to speak the truth or at least in that case. It is the only thing which implies that anything happened

So they basically kept him in jail for 2 years for no reason? If now magically they dismiss it?
So with zero charges he's been incarcerated for a retarded time period for no reason then, huh?

God, I cannot wait for the potential lawyer sperg moment where Chris makes his ultimate tugboat.
HOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW?
Where's the fucking Law and Order thing?
Justice weeping
So did his autism shield him here?
Uploading to here as hadn't created thread when adding to CH.

HE'S NOT EVEN ON A REGISTER.

You got to be shitting me. He fucking raped his mom and got away with it.

My god.
I wonder if it was dismissed on a technicality. Wasn't the original charge like: Incest with own child? Or something to that effect.

Since the charge was untrue, could it be dismissed for that?
I don’t know how dismissal works, would it be theoretically possible for Chris to seek compensation for his time in jail?
So does this mess disqualify or otherwise interfere with him from going into a group home at all? I imagine that’s where he’s going to end up in the end once Barb croaks and it’s clear he can’t afford/take care of the house.

Putting a roof over his head and giving him some toys to play with for a piece of the tugboat would be easy money after all.
I'd like to remind everyone that Virginia is old as shit, incest not being a sex crime probably made sense at the time, because the classification didn't exist.
This saga has been going on for 2 years. How is anyone surprised by what was pretty clear (and discussed in thousands of comments) was the outcome from the minute they tabled the indictment proceedings?

Not magic. Not scot-free. Deferral (diversion) program, the successful completion of which means dismissal (and often expungement, but idk if that is the case here).

More on deferral/diversion, potential punishments for incest* convictions (and vs the time Chris served), offender registration here (with cites to actual laws and stuff):

*which can be sex offenses for purposes of registration, depending on circumstances

(my only caveat is that I don't recall if we knew for sure he'd been in the autism, etc.-specific deferral program, or if that was just educated speculation. Trajectory and disposition do align with that kind of program, though.)

Chris has been proven innocent in a court of law, Joshua "Judas" Moon better start writing his apology.
No, he hasn't.

If it is dismissed then he is treated like anyone else who has not raped. Can courts give conditions for no reason?
According to the text about dismissals due to Autism or Intellectual Disabilities someone posted a few pages back, they can have conditions for it as well
(sorry, would quote it but I'm on mobile, It's a PITA to grab more quotes on TOR, or edit them in for that matter). So if I'm understanding it correctly, being in a group home could be part of that.

Someone remind me, how long does the order keeping him from Barb last?

Just because the case was dismissed, that doesn't mean he's considered "innocent" right? Like yeah, he was convicted of anything, but the judge never said he was innocent either. I'm legally retarded so I apologize if this is an obvious answer.

With Chris's luck, he could get murder charges dropped even if they had the weapon, him on camera doing it, eye witnesses, and had a confession admitting he did it.

You underestimate the power of the autism card and a stretched thin apathetic legal system.

No, it doesnt mean he is innocent. It just means the judges and legal system simply didnt see this as worth of their time and resources anymore.

I think you quoted me by mistake, I wasn’t shocked or surprised in the slightest. My posts was about the legal potential of Chris beignets compensated for his unusually long jail time

Not American law savvy, so rate me dumb if you please, but couldn't Chris sue the State for of all the time he was kept in jail? I mean, if the charges dropped...
