I know I'll get flak for asking, but at what point did Nick go from being somewhat likeable to the majority of people disliking him? I have been reading through these 2400 pages of posts but my eyes are starting to hurt. My tipping point was sometime last year when his streams all became him drinking and ranting about stuff outside of his wheelhouse (and all those fucking memorial RIP messages he constantly gets paid to read). Was there a generally accepted "event" that triggered all this?

The above post has the right idea about drinking and going outside of his wheelhouse (narcissism + incompentency combo). There's an old/interesting thread from 2014 that can shed light on this. Though some of the content may be out of date, it does provide insight into the more timeless qualities of lolcowdom. It also provides proof that it has been long-known what makes a lolcow.
I don't often even consider people Lolcows if there isn't an aspect of Tard Rage or failed damage control and most often the whole failed damage control thing ends up being the funniest part of the lolcows.
I would have to say how open they are in regard to divulging embarrassing, personal, disgusting and laughable details about themselves. Some of them call it honesty. Some of them call it pride. But when people laugh about something they've divulged they get angry. Almost as if in Chris' telling people you have dirty crapped briefs demands respect. Or in Jace's case people would totally understand why you've barricaded yourself in your room and are holding up a piss bag for all the world to see. And Moleman's white knighting of pedophiles totally does not imply anything about him at all.
It all comes down to narcissism+incompetence. No matter what, they believe they're the best. They're always right. Everyone else is stupid, a hater, jealous for not being them. When you combine that with absolute incompetence at everything they do, you get a lolcow. The disconnect between what they are and what they believe they are is what's so funny. Both traits are necessary.
Their lack of self awareness, their tendency to get butthurt over trivial things, their ability to creep people out constantly, and the fact that they just keep digging further and further down.
They all have a desperate need for attention it does not matter if it is negative, positive, or detrimental to their own selves. This why they document every crazy scheme, deviant behavior, and their interactions with the larger world. They crave our attention because they chase off any person they know in real life and they know that we will be there to watch their freak show of a life for its entertainment value.
One trait that I actually do like is the blind optimism found in some lolcows. That no matter how bizarre, crazy, or stupid their pet project is, they think they can become successful with it.
My favorite lolcow trait is when they are hypocrites, and when you try to point out the fact that they are hypocrites the lengths that most of them go to backtrack or justify it are usually hilarious.
I don't know if favourite is the word, but something I find weirdly fascinating is the need to share their fetishes. I could understand if we were talking about people on an anonymous forum or something, but these are people who make their identities very public and in some cases, aspire to become famous.

Lolcows are very dependent on false dichotomies. The most important being that you are either a fan or a hater, but there's another one, certainly one that Chris depends on to get through the day: If trolls are assholes, that makes the lolcow a blameless victim.

Nick started evincing, and then doubling down on, his lolcow traits notably over the last year. Signs were there for his audience, but more importantly they were also there for Nick. He knew what a lolcow was and why people didn't respect them and milked them for content, but he was too oblivious and narcissistic to think it could ever apply to him.
When did people stop liking Nick?
This would be when Nick started being an unapologetic lolcow in earnest. Nick was a Chad in his own mind (as most lolcows are) for being an open degenerate who doesn't care what others think. He told family, friends, and fans to "fuck off" just to satisfy his degenerate ego only to cope and seethe when these people don't like him anymore.

No. Nick was afforded many opportunities to pull up by his former fans and people on KF. It's not so much what Nick did (many were willing to forgive or hoping for redemption), but how Nick responded.
If you want to put it to an event, you would have to ask Nick, as it would have to be the definitive moment wherein Nick decided for himself that he would embrace his inner lolcow and not pull up.
These are two different incidents but they were involving driving to one of the same events for the kid. It was some sort of speech tournament.
This is the right incident for the speeding ticket. The thread found out about it in June when it appeared on MCRO and someone from Locals posted about it.
This happened on the Saturday after a Friday "Fun Stream" in April, just before 7 in the morning IIRC, but it turned out Nick was drinking water for the majority of the night. It wouldn't have been a problem by six or seven the next morning and I made sure to emphasize that.
The stream where he was talking about having to leave to pick up his kid in 4 hours was a month later in May. Even then, maybe he ended up getting his wife to drive or maybe he was putting a "performance" by pretending to be drunk. This was when the Friday streams were going off the rails. He came back from his "beach out west" R&R vacation promising to cut back on his drinking, because it was degrading his show, but it appears to have caught up to him again. But then again it's just a PERFORMANCE guys.
I obviously don't know if he's driving drunk anywhere, but logically thinking through people's speculation on this thread, IF he is, he will get a DUI. Simple as that. He drives a very conspicuous car with a very conspicuous vanity plate, and he's not really in quite as rural an area as he sometimes lets on. And we've literally seen on livestreams how obnoxious his driving is where he puts the pedal down and revs the engine extremely loud while he's driving. I doubt the (small-l) locals are as enamored with his Mustang as he might think they are.
