That screenshot shows 5 fake nails on the left hand, but none are visible on the right hand. Either way there are at least 4 fake nails that are unaccounted for.

Now, basically the best case scenario for Cog is that he deliberately set up the video so that either his wife's hands would get mistaken for man hands or his hands would be mistaken for woman hands to own the ayylawgs. As shown in the Tweet above, Cog actually implied he got what he wanted from the video which was to talk about his reflection in the glass. His thinking is not what you might expect.

In addition, you said that they were woman's hands in the video, which is not entirely correct either.

I don't have time to watch the whole stream right now, but from searching the YouTube auto transcript for the stream, I see that Cog has admitted to being the one holding the ingredients in the video (~1:50:00), and I had three screenshots of what Cog admits are his hands in the video in my post. Either way according to Cog everyone got worked in one direction or another.

He's standing behind the tripod to view the frame, he steps out from behind afterwards to stand in front of the stove.

I'm not sure where his wife is supposed to be standing at the point of putting the lid on at 3:02.

Let's say that the tripod is set up to the side of the stove looking downward.

Throughout most of the video, I believe the way "Cog's wife's" hands are positioned are normal relative to what you would expect if the camera is facing a way such that the floor where she was standing was somewhere to the right of the video. It would also be consistent with the reflection of a ceiling fan with a light attached being to that direction. There is also empty space on the stove to the left (relative to the video), which if that positioning was correct would mean that the pan is at the front of the stove.

Right before the lid goes on, there is some movement, possibly from the pan being moved or a cut.

Upon rotating the video to match this positioning, I still don't see anyway it's NOT Cog in the reflection unless Cog's wife is supposed to be standing or sitting somewhere far off to the left of the pan, reaching over to put the pot on with her right hand, OR footage has been cut out to make the appearance of the reflection deceptive.

And I don't see any reason for a contrived setup like that unless they were trying to set up this reflection shot deliberately.

Look at the transition right before the reflection shot (timestamp). There are no other editing effects like that in the video. You can clearly see that in POST processing Cog edited the video to zoom it in so the shot was cropped tighter. Why bother doing this work if you're not trying to obfuscate something? This was not a result of the camera being moved or adjusted while filming. Cog said he did this in editing because had he not, his wife's reflection was visible in the glass. Which makes sense given her positioning. She is standing more or less behind the camera, and Cog is off to the side. Cog's reflection comes in after her hand pulls away. The video is highly sped up.

It would not make sense that she would have no reflection standing directly behind the pan, whereas Cog is behind and perhaps slightly to the right and does. It could make sense if you assumed she was sitting off to the side for these shots and reaching over (Cog appears to be looking far to the left and downward at the end of the shot, could be in her direction). That is ignoring the fact that there are fake nails that are unaccounted for, though.

I already stated I was mistaken about that, and what I was thinking of was your post in the CH thread, not your post in this thread. I'm not even sure that your CH post initially had screenshots at all. It may have just been the video you clipped. I also already stated that I didn't scrutinize every picture in this thread before commenting, because I didn't need to. Based on what YOU emphasized, the VIDEO, I could see it was clearly a woman's hand. (And I was right.) I glanced at the other screenshots and saw female hands again (the ones with the fake nails) so I commented "that's a female". The other screenshots you posted, the nails-free ones, were blurry, and the food-holding ones barely showed any of the hands. They didn't even register with me because what I saw first was obviously female.

If I'm wrong, explain what happened? Cog got fake acrylic nails for a video to pretend to be a woman, even though there are clearly women in the house he could use to be his fake-wife hands for the video? And then Cog took the fake nails off, and then the woman got the exact same fake nails (they are acrylic, it could NOT be the same set of nails shared between people, that's not how acrylics work), and showed them on stream?
