There is a Catholic church less than 10 minutes from the protestant one he attends. One question I have and I'm sure has been spoken of already is that when Rekieta was bad mouthing his congregation, he mentioned that they're all Protestants? If I recall correctly, wasn't he Catholic, well "Catholic". Seems really odd to me unless there doesn't exist any Cathedrals in his city.

Attending non-Catholic service in lieu of Catholic mass when one is available is is a mortal sin (as is not attending mass at all).
The statue this is referring to includes both physical and sexual, so from the charge there is no way to tell if it was physical or sexual abuse or both.May have been asked already in the hurricane of posts, but I'm curious : Would the sexual part of that charge explicitly imply molestation or could it be something like Nick drunk off his ass walking around naked with the kids present or leaving porn out where they could get to it? Is there any way for that specific charge to not imply something horrible beyond what we're already aware of?
"(2) A parent, legal guardian, or caretaker who knowingly permits the continuing physical or sexual abuse of a child is guilty of neglect of a child and may be sentenced to imprisonment for not more than one year or to payment of a fine of not more than $3,000, or both."
It doesn't seem like the drugs around the kids would count as that type of abuse so I wonder if there is something else pending. Maybe Nick's charges would count as physical abuse if it did result in injury to the kids or if he purposely gave the kids drugs?
